I think Donald is okay...I found him and Daisy in WS.

I don't lioke how they do character greetings in WS anymore. The characters come around every so often in a bus. liked when they were in the country of origin. You can still find Aladdin in Morocco though (don't understand that).

Speaking of characters roaming the park, Mickey and Minnie were roaming MK with one greeter following several feet behind. They were over around Pirates coming from Adventureland. I also saw them wandering around over in Tomorrowland.

The only other place I have seen characters not in a set location is coming out from the GMR to get in front of the big hat.

I was told by one of my character friends that it is a bus because they can get them all together and in one central location rather than spread out all over to help kids see more characters. AA has some of the characters in the rotunda so often.

Well...for those of us who had the pleasure of going to Disney in the early 90s and 80s (o wow...now i feel old)..you will remember that you couldnt turn around without seeing a character. I think thats what is jading a lot of us here....our "parks full of characters" has been nullified by recent events...so we tend to notice it more...

I heard, some years ago, that in some Europian countries, including Germany, Donald Duck was banned because he doesn't use pants. This is not a joke, it's a fact that maybe nowadays changed, but I remember perfectly hearing that news, which really impressed me in the sence that it's totally nonsense.

Its kinda like how he never wears pants, but when he gets out of the shower he has a towel wrapped around his waist...

speak about donald duck-- i used to have a walt disney world donald duck t-shirt. the same one u saw sammy hagar the singer wear in one of his rock videos in the mid 80s-the plain white t shirt with blue ring around the neck and sleeves.so at one point he did have an important role at wdw:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Like all these cartoons where they're normally naked, but they put on a pair of trunks to go swimming!

Actually, it was true. I contacted some people in Germany and told me that this happened in some regions which religion was too strict, not in touristic or known cities.

My only mistake is that it wasn't Germany it was Finland. Helsinski was the first city and the only one that got the Duck banned, but when they propose to prohibit Donald in the rest of the country they lost.
