Donald Duck in Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway?

There are reenactments of the cartoons in the ride. The ride is basically a 2.5D clip show of the new Mickey Mouse cartoons. Donald is part of the show. Why do you think a slight slip up by the narrator of the video would equate to Donald not being in it? He's part of the series.

Yes, Donald is part of the series. However, it has been two years since The Great Movie Ride closed, more than enough time to flesh out all the details of the Runaway Railway, which was supposed to have opened sometime this year, but did not for some reason. Now, it's about to FINALLY open some time next year (knock on wood). You would think that between the time The Great Movie Ride has closed and now, plenty of details would have come out about the scenes themselves. Daisy was mentioned, but not Donald. You would think that Donald would be mentioned at one point or another, but he wasn't. Either he's not in the ride or he is, they're just mysteriously, inexplicably silent on that matter. Again, he may appear in the scene with Daisy, but remember, it's called Daisy's Dance Studio, not Donald and Daisy's Dance Studio. Again, with all the information about the ride thus far, you would think they would at least mention Donald's name in passing.

Anyway, I'm starting to ramble here, so I'll post again after an answer to this. I think I may have to post a private message to @marni1971 about this.

I'm sure he will be in there, but I do not know in what capacity. This is also only a hunch right now, but I am curious why the urgency to know this one detail?

Because the rest of the members of Mickey's inner circle have been referenced as appearing in the ride in some way or another, and yet nowhere have they mentioned Donald. I'm just curious about why they are silent on the matter, especially with the ride due to open in a few months.

OR you could wait and be surprised when it opens? Kind of aggressive just to know if a character is appearing in a ride that nobody has ridden yet.
If he isn't will you boycott?

No, I will not boycott. But I am not fond of surprises, either. I am just curious as to what is going on, that's all.

I just think that considering they have already posted a scene-by-scene description of the ride to come, they would go into some details. Remember, that ride was supposed to have opened this year, but for some reason, they didn't do that. And remember also that this ride is also coming to Disneyland, presumably as a clone.

To be perfectly honest, I kind of prefer Donald over Minnie or Daisy. Why, I even like Pluto better than Minnie or Daisy, and I believe I heard it mentioned that he would be in there, too.

I'm sure within the havoc on the train ride will see Donald and random other characters do cameos..Kind of like when they throw Oswald in them for a brief second..

Literally treating Oswald like a pile of s ***.

Nice.

I have read a lot of information pertaining to Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, including the most recent DSNY Newscast video, which goes into detail on Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway (mostly in WDW, but also touching on Disneyland's upcoming version as well):

Anyway, I've heard a lot about the Disney characters appearing in the ride, including Mickey, Minnie and Goofy (who is your train engineer), as well as Pluto (allegedly on the drive with Mickey and Minnie) and even Daisy, who has a dance studio, as the video explains.

However, in all of the information on the ride I've found, it seems like they never mention one other member of Mickey's inner circle, one very significant character: Donald Duck. Is he not going to be in the ride at all? If he is, where will he be? I personally think he should assist Goofy in operating the train (probably as a fireman or maybe as a conductor), or at the very least appear with Daisy in her scene (if that video is any indication).

What's going on? I really hope Donald makes it into the ride. It would be awkward for him not to be there.

He felt slighted, so he's now going to be the new voice of Aflac.

So now that the ride is about to open and we've already had cast previews (with spoilers and everything), do we know if Donald Duck is in it? I'm trying to avoid spoilers before I watch the video myself on YouTube (which is probably the closest I will get to this ride until it comes to Disneyland in a couple of years).

Are you asking for spoilers or not? :) To answer your question... Yes, Donald Duck is in the attraction.
