One of the best charecters on television has died at 81. A true Classic, and original. RIP

That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. And let us not forget "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken."

He was one of those vanishing breed of actors...a decent person, no scandel, who provided wholesome entertainment.

Truly, truly an American original. God broke the mold when He made Don. I was fortunate enough to see Don at MGM Studios in the early 90's...my first celebrity sighting And I was fortunate enough to know exactly who he was, as I was probably 10 years old or younger at the time. I never really got into The Andy Griffith Show, but I'll always remember him from Three's Company and Private Eyes, which was a childhood favorite of mine.

Farewell, Don! Thanks for the memories and the laughs! RIP :wave:

One of the few celebrities posted on here nowadays that I actually knew a lot about. Mr. Limpet still ranks as one of my favourite childhood films.
