It is a non dairy frozen confection with pineapple and is available at Aloha Isle in the MK.

There have been many recent discussions about them and a quick search will bring those threads up...the recipe to make them at home is included in a few.

I've yet to try the real deal, but the home made ones are very good (those are not non dairy)

I went last week, and because of this forum, I went out and got a dole whip. It was very good. I didn't get one with the juice in it. Anybody know how those are?

Dole Whip is light pineapple soft-serve

I got it in the form of a pineapple float on my last trip, and it was delicious. Everyone's gotta try one at some point, because it's a legendary snack.

The pineapple float is first filled ~halfway with pineapple juice, then the cup is filled with Dole Whip on top of it.

I don't even LIKE pineapple, and I love the Dole Whip. My last trip, I tried a float, expecting to hate it (because I also hate pineapple juice) but it was actually quite delicious. Which is making me kind of think that maybe I DON'T hate pineapples....hmmm....

Yup. Love doesn't like pineapple but loooooves Dole Whips. (Though he prefers his just in a cup sans juice.) I opt for the float because I eat most of the soft serve and drink some of the juice but when I get to a good remaining ratio, I mix it all together and make a smoothie type drink out of the rest. Nummy.

With or without the juice (which makes it a "pineapple float") the pineapple Dole Whip is an absolute must eat at the 'World. :slurp:

I'm sure there's some addictive ingredient that Disney adds that will eventually turn us all into Disney Slaves or small world dolls or something of the sort......:lookaroun

After hearing such fabulous things about them, we had to try on our last trip & I really wasn't that impressed. I thought it was a bit bland- of course I am not a pineapple fan to begin with. Anyone feel the same way or am I just weird?:)

My vote goes for STINKY TREAT TOO. I like the right balance of pineapple, but for some reason it just tasted very canned fruit or something. Not very fresh. May have been the day, but give me a berry smoothie or something instead.

My dad felt the same way. He loves pineapple, but thought Dole Whips were light and airy.

I also love pineapple, but I'll get a Dole Whip at least once on every trip to WDW. The orange slush down the road is extremely tempting though, and it often wins when I'm in Adventureland. HA

We just got back from the world and I finally tried a pineapple dole whip. They are good, I am not a huge fan of pineapple but it was very light and refreshing on a hot day.
