I just saw that on the USA today site! yummy!

I was talking to my MIL about Twilight yesterday and she was telling me how she was reading about Rob Pattinson being stinky on the set. I told her that I read that too, but he hadn't been on set yet when that all started. She went on and on about how she was right....since I didn't want to let on to just how obsessed I am I just caved in and agreed with her. If only she knew how much time I spend reading gossip sites and searching for any Twilight news. :lookaroun

It's silly how those rumors start isn't it? Since I have no way of knowing, not actually being there, I just say 'whatever'.
The main Twilight site I'm going on is newmoonmovie.org. There are usually a few posts every day. The comments usually crack me up - like the ones for that wolf pic....'imprint on ME' :ROFLOL:

Sorry...my grandma called. I have been lots and lots of phone calls from family members because they were all expecting me to have an ultrasound yesterday and they want to know if we found out what the baby is.

No I didn't take any classes.:o I'm wondering if I should go to the library and see what kind of birthing books I can find. I had made my peace with having a C-sec, so now I feel like I'm behind the came for a natural birth.

I'll have to check out that site. I read Perez Hilton and TMZ all the time and I remember them talking about the New Moon stuff before I had an interest in Twilight. Now I have been on search for any Twilight specific info I can find. It is honestly bad how obsessed I have become!

Honestly? Deep breathing helps you bear things....yelling does nothing but make everyone want to avoid you....epidurals can be nice. :animwink: If nothing else, you could take a tour of your hospital's labor and delivery area.

I'm seriously obsessed too, Chrissy, and liking that wolf pic waaay more than I should. :o

We did take a hospital tour back in Feb. The nurse I had when I had to go in a couple weeks ago for monitoring was great. I think they will be a good source for helping me through the process. I used to watch the Discovery Channel and TLC birthing shows all the time and I remember the mid-wives always saying that yelling does nothing to help. I want to attempt to go natural as long as possible, but I'm definetly open to the idea of IV medication or an epidural.

I was hoping that once I had the baby and my hormones returned to a normal level that maybe my obsession would start to fade, but now you have me worried! That site is going to be bad news for me. I'll be on there all day trying to catch up.

I usually keep the TV on for backround noise while I'm doing stuff during the day. Yesterday I couldn't find anything interesting, so I decided to put the Twilight movie in (again). We use DH's Playstation 3 as a blu-ray player. I didn't know that the people he plays online against were able to see if/when our player was on. We went out to dinner with some of the other residents last night and the one asked DH why he was playing in the middle of the day when he should have been at work. DH turned to me and said "did you watch twilight again?" I thought I was being sneaky.:o

Let's just say I have new desktop background. :lookaroun And I've lost count of how many times I have read the books/seen the movie. I justify it everytime there is 'Twilight' weather outside.

Hello everyone.

Hi Susan!

One of the funniest memories I had was in the hospital in labor with Joel, after I had the epidural. My sister's on one side of me, Mike's on the other looking at the machine, watching the contractions get stronger...saying, 'c'mon let's get to 10 here!', and I'm sitting there going, 'okay, still can't feel it...AWESOME!'

I told DH that yesterday was Twilight weather...he just looked at me and walked away.

I think labor is going to be my payback for DH. He was just saying the other day how I haven't had any weird pregnancy cravings or sent him out at midnight to get me icecream. He said he was feeling deprived because he couldn't couldn't make fun of me for those things.

Hi Steph!

Yep I get to go naturally. He is still going by a May 6 due date, so that means I should have no more than 3 weeks. (I'm pretty sure he induces if you get to 41 weeks)

It's supposed to be so nice this weekend! Hopefully you'll learn a lot of good info....and you can pass some stuff on to me:lookaroun

I'll take notes for you. My cousin said that after she took hers is when she really started to panic about childbirth. I've already been panicking so maybe it will have the opposite effect on me. *crosses fingers*

You'll have to share if they tell you any interesting stories they have experienced w/ parents...I learned some great ones.

Well, you're running out of time to make up for that. :animwink:
