So....
I was talking to the principal today about next school year and scheduling our book fairs. Fall is already scheduled and I have two other possibilities for add'l fairs. One would be once again during right to read week, and the other would be a BOGO fair right before school gets out to encourage summer reading. She thinks both sound like good ideas, which would mean 3 fairs next year. Thing is, I agree with her....I'm all about the reading.

I just think I've lost my mind. :hammer::hammer:

That's great about the book fairs Jenny. It will be stressful planning but I really like the one to promote summer reading. That's a great idea!

I fell asleep book in hand on the couch last night. I didn't get very much reading done.

We would have our end of the year ice cream social that week and be open to the public too. :)

Love the ideas Jen! I heart reading right now.

...and buffalo wings...:lookaroun

Yeah, I can see me telling my scholastic rep, 'sorry about all the BBQ stains on the books'...:lookaroun So, opinion here....our librarian asked whether she should get the Twilight books or if we were selling them at our last fair, which we weren't. Thing is, 5th grade seems a little young to me to read the entire series....maybe the first one....so I told her probably no. I know some 5th grade girls have read them though.

Hmmm... that's a tough one. The first one would be okay probably. Definitely not the last one. But even by the second one they start talking about... stuff... so... yeah, you may be right. Maybe don't offer them at the book fair. It would probably be your safest bet.

hmmm... Other than the lockers, I don't know... :(

Methinks the lockers would be too small for our cruise suitcases :lookaroun

Would you have a rental car?

Nope. I'm loosely putting together a quick and CHEAP trip for our anniversary to use that SW credit we've got. One I found leaves from port canaveral, which uses the MCO airport. If we're going to be there, and have AP's... well, you catch my drift. :lookaroun

But what the heck would we do with our luggage?? :veryconfu

Agreed. Especially since they hadn't really sold well at previous ones.
