Doing the wave with Magic Friends

Good morning....
I don't know how long I'll be here today...yesterday, when the big oak was brought down, the impact drove it about 2 feet into our ground and snapped our cable line in half. The cable rep spliced it for us, but there's one more tree to come down, so they will be disconnecting it for us so we don't have a repeat of yesterday. This tree is not as big, but is still pretty impressive looking. They'll rehook it again after the tree is down, but if I disappear on you again, that's why. :lol:

This has only proven to me two things: 1) I am way too addicted to my computer, and 2) having no tv/internet during spring break stinks. I had one grumpy little boy last night. :brick:

I just finished baking a ham for Sunday and in a little while will be putting on a pot of beans. :slurp: I know how you feel about being addicted to the computer. :zipit: Not a good feeling when it goes out.

We're doing a ham, roasted potatoes, pineapple and cheese casserole (sounds weird, but it's yummy!) and some green vege... but I'm not sure what yet. I'm cooking for 10 and I'm a bit nervous...

Sorry I disappeared, my parents made an impromptu visit to see the backyard carnage. Dad hates that they're cutting the oak into such small sections, but they don't have a choice weight wise to get it out of our yard. :shrug:

We have a bunch of tall trees in our yard. (Back, front and side, probably close to 30 or more) Mostly black walnut I think... DH had me get on our new riding mower last night for the first time. Despite the many tree obstacles, it was quite fun, for the few minutes I tried it out!
