Does Wall-E appear at WDW?

I've read that Wall-E made a test run at DL-does he appear at WDW? My kids would be thrilled...

I didn't see him yesterday, but heard the song from the movie over and over. I don't know the name, but it was the song from the movie Wall-E watched.

From what's being said, it looks like they're choosing not to have Wall-E out in the parks for the time being.

When I was there in July, I asked in City Hall. They told me he'd be out in a few weeks. From what I've read around here though, the test run didn't go so well so he's not out in parks.

There are two songs from "Hello, Dolly" in Wall-E. "It Only Takes A Moment" is the love song, and "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" is the other one.

Side note: If you heard it in the MK, "Sunday Clothes" has been part of the Main Street music loop for a number of years.

Thanks! I guess I never noticed it as background music before Wall-E.

I do notice when they play that super sad Toy Story 2 song at Downtown Disney. As you can tell, I'm not good with names, but it was the little girl giving Jessie away song.

How did Disney miss this one??? If they couldn't get the robot Wall E to work than why didn't throw something simple together (a Well E with no movements would be better than nothing or a cardboard cut-out)! Such a popular movie and character and yet there's no Wall E!?! My kids are quite disappointed actually - they loved the movie and really wanted to meet the "character"!

You can find a statue of him in Imagination Studios in DHS. I tried to add the picture of DD with him, but I couldn't figure out how to get the picture on here! It's not a character, but she thought it was cool.
