does UoE need to be more relevant?

As in retro I meant a older style attraction where it wasn't all thrills and frills.Kinda EPCOT Center-ish.:D

But I do like the idea, and yeah, the cars are agonizingly slow...I wonder if they can be speeded up?

I never said I didn't like traditional style rides.

Shoot, TTA is probably my favorite ride in any park (at least until Manta opens) and that ride is completely pointless.

I just don't get you.

One thread you seem "everything new is good because its new and the old stuff sucked"and now you seem "retro"-almost fanboy-ish.

In any case,I agree.(love the TTA too BTW)

That's an assumption.

I like change. I appreciate tradition. You can have both.

I really like the current Imagination ride (I also like version 2). Do I think they are as good as the original? No... but I can still enjoy them.

Understood...Even though that kinda was your attitude in the past few threads.;)

I feel the same way...I enjoy WDW immensely but just think there are areas that if attended to properly with the traditional way of creating attractions,we could have new classics that are even better.Like with UoE-give us a new entertaining story of energy and it's future uses and we're golden.[/attempt to bring thread back to topic]:lookaroun

And what pray tell was that?:D

The rail switching thing from your tribute?

Sounds good.
Nope - the rail switch was the first proposal for the ride system. Too complicated.

The `other` rehab version was more akin to the style of Universals T2:3D. Very dramatic, exciting and dark. I`ve posted 2 concept art pics previously somewhere on the site....

I also think the moving theaters are WAY too slow.
Not in the parking lot ;)
