Hey . Does Tinkerbell still fly from the Castle? If so when does it happen and where can you get the best view of her? Is it everynight at the end of the fireworks? Id love to get a place to sit and watch her come right at us. Thanks

Yes, at the beginning of the fireworks. Not sure about best positioning to see her. She's pretty high up so there shouldn't be anything in the way..

Weather permitting she still flies. Once the winds reach a certain speed her flight will be scrubbed. During the day you will see a cable stretching from the roof of the Tomorrowland Noodle station to the side of the castle about 2/3ds of the way up. That is the zip line she will come down. She will come down a few minutes into the show. (most people expect to see her right at the start)

Now why would she need a zip line...

I tell you though she can be quite tricky to film. I was trying to follow her path and she was a lot faster than I remembered\expected. Nearly missed her the little...

Disneyland flying Tink > MK flying tink.
Disneyland's actually swoops and hovers and such.
Way better.

Agreed! Though her swooping around like that reminds me of an annoying fly that doesn't go away. :lookaroun Sometimes when I'm watching the show on YouTube, I want to get my fly swatter out... :drevil:

True...But it's kinda taken away from the fact that you can see all the rigging that goes into it.:dazzle:

Sorry to inform you guys, but the line to the castle is just a fiber optic line to the ULTRA SUPER FAST internet and HD TV signal. That comes directly from the Tomorrowland Hub. And since is the same path that Tick fly look like she is on a cable. Sorry

And as for in Disneyland, after she is done here she travels there and do the show but with some luggage so that why it looks like a a rig.

SORRY GUYS.

We watched her from the bridge area that connects tomorrowland to the hub, in front of the noddle station area, by Stiches Great Escape. There were a million people right there but we had no time to position ourselves any better to see her. We saw her just fine from there. In the past we have watched from the seating area in the Noodle Station and I like that much better, it is crowded but since everyone is sitting down no one can step in front of you. Grab that seat at least one hour before the fireworks show. If that doesn't work then go to the bridge and elbow your way in!

We always watch from the left side of the hub, right when you cross onto the hub from the liberty square bridge there is a little "pavilion" type thing
(:veryconfudon't know how else to describe it) to the left, with water fountains and such, we sit/stand on the sidewalk in front of that. If you have little kids it might be too loud, as you'll be pretty close to the castle and sound equipment.
