Does this mean no general admission fireworks or HEA at the Magic Kingdom?

The article talks about upgrading older shows, HEA is still considered new to me. Also makes me wonder if fireworks will only be for a separate event. I could easily see them throw us the scraps and bring back Fantasy in the sky. As much as I love the old shows I hate cutbacks.

Right or completely wrong, I don't see anything in the article that justifies "no general admission fireworks". They talk about older shows, but they're clearly talking about HEA. I hate clickbait articles. We shouldn't be baiting each other to click clickbait.

Nope. Not gonna click on it. I’ll believe things when I either read about them from people I trust here or when I see it with my own eyes.

From what the article actually says the thread title is very misleading. I could link that same article under a thread entitled "Does this mean a free firework show that is bigger and better than any firework show anywhere else in the world?" and it would fit. Feels a bit like an 'agenda' driven title.

The fireworks topic in general has been discussed in several different threads. One main thread would be nice.

Hopefully this (the upgrades to the launch sites) means that they will bring back the finale package for HEA that was present around late 2018 to early 2019. Since then, right up until the closure in March 2020, the finale has been greatly reduced in terms of booms and numbers.

Imo, that finale package during that time period was the greatest it’s ever been since the opening of the show.

Here’s a comparison. The first one is just more satisfying and complete with the sheer number and scale of the fireworks used.

Early 2019:

March 2020:

The wrong information was in regards to fireworks testing that Disney decided post-publication to switch to fuses only (per the source for the article). Disney may yet close streets prior to live shells, but I'm not sure about timing anymore since they altered their plans.

As far as data transfer capabilities discussed, those are accurate, as well as the new position.
