Does the Night of Joy Concerts effect crowds at DHS?

Hi, I am Planning to go to DHS on 9/5 and just found out that the Night of Joy concerts are being held at that time. Does any one know if this will effect park crowds and is it a special venue (concert stadium) where you need a special ticket to get into?

It is going to be kind of hard to judge being that this will be the first year that NOJ will be held at DHS. If you judge by past years at MK the park will definitely see an increase in crowds form 4:00 PM on.

In my experience NOJ will increase crowds at DHS after 4pm if the MK is any indication. If you are attending the event expect it to be really crowded. I'm assuming DHS will close at 6 to day guests, this will help reduce crowds, but I would still expect it to be really crowded. I don't expect DHS to handle the crowds as well as MK did, but time will tell.

Along the same lines...We are planning to be in the MK on Saturday, September 6. Will Night of Joy pull big crowds out of MK?

That really depends on a lot factors that are hard to say. If a bunch of youth groups and people attending the event are spending Saturday in the MK and than planning on heading to DHS for NoJ, than yes it will. If you have a lot of people who aren't going to NoJ at Mk on Saturday, than no it won't. I can't say for sure (I doubt anyone can) b/c I don't know what people will decide to do.
