Does online check-in hurt chances of upgrade?

I know upgrades are a long shot anyways, but my plan was to check into the WL on Saturday night and see if there were any Club Level rooms available, maybe use some puppy dog eyes, etc. :shrug: If we do on-line check in, is our room assigned right on the spot?

We'll see. There's just 2 adults going this time, and it will be our 5th time staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

FTR - Still can't do online check-in. This is today's message:

System Unavailable

* We're sorry, but we cannot access your Chase account at this time. However, you may continue to book your reservation. If you wish to pay for your reservation using your Chase account, please try again later. . (W1210014)


Of course, my reservation is paid in full and I don't even own a Chase card.

I think if I were you I would print our all these messages you are getting and give them to the CM who checks you in so they can forward to the IT department. Express your concerns and troubles and see what they do. Cant hurt.

I talked to the IT department a couple days ago. They couldn't get me checked in either. They have no idea what the problem is.

WOW what a pain...I would still let them know at check in the issue you had and maybe you will get some FassPass for your troubles!!! So sorry you having this issue. But hey, if your trying to do on-line check in then your within 10 days of being in the most wonder place on earth!!! I just told my DH that a 70 minute line at Soar'n would be better than sitting at my desk right now!!!! Enjoy your trip and have lots of fun!!!

No biggie. Like I said, it only saves a minute or 2, and we're getting in at night. I just think they should fix whatever the problem is.
