Does Living with the Land still do NASA experiments?

I know it was a thing for several years where in part of the ride you saw indications where they did experiments with NASA.

I don't know if they still do that or not...either officially shown or unofficially, anyone know?

They highlighted their continuing work with NASA during our last ride in mid-October.

Isn't almost all of Living with the land ride "Mocked"/More for showing the concept of farming and not actual use?

The greenhouses are both for "showing the concept" and for "actual use". They are working greenhouses; they produce significant harvests which are used in the the restaurants in the pavilion.

Well, Disney does still do things with NASA according to this...

Used to love the spinning lettuce growing drum thing at the end of the ride in the 80s...I guess that was to simulate how they could grow plants in a zero-g environment by creating g-force so the plant would know which way to grow.
