This has been a debate between me and my family. Wanted other opinions. Do you think Disney needs another big thrill ride like rockin roller coaster?
I wish Space Mountain gotten a major refurb like Disneyland did years ago. I liked the Disneyland version since I felt like you really were in space.Yes they do but in the meantime I wish they properly maintained the ones they have. The Yeti still has had no attempt at being fixed on Everest, Space Mountain is near collapse, Splash Mountain got saved from collapse last year, Big Thunder needs a refurb and Rock N Rollercoaster is pretty rough right now.
Not to Six Flags levels of Thrill though.Rockin' Roller Coaster is just way too fast! I still have to ride once every time I visit Disney. I think Disney needs an additional thrill ride E ticket in each park, too. But, more on the level of Expedition Everest, Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain. So, thrilling but not too thrilling.
LOL. Of course not. I have never been to a Six Flags but I imagine it's like Cedar Point or slightly less. Not to Six Flags levels of Thrill though.
All of the rides you mentioned consist of screens which is okay for Universal. But, I don't ever want Disney to jump on this bandwagon. All of the rides are basically the same with a different movie on the screen.I just want to see Disney innovate in their thrill rides, like they have done in the past and across the world.
My mind goes into overdrive when I ride Spiderman, Forbidden Journey, Gringotts etc at what Disney could do using such systems with their vast library of IP, yet it feels like we are miles away from seeing such a dream become reality.

Oh yes, I totally agree with you. I definitely don't want to get into another silly screen debate. LOL.We'll have to disagree on that, I think the screen debate has been overdone across this site and most others but the 3 rides I mentioned are pretty incomparable, beyond screens.
Agree with you on all of those except rock n roller coaster. Coaster seems to still be pretty smooth.Yes they do but in the meantime I wish they properly maintained the ones they have. The Yeti still has had no attempt at being fixed on Everest, Space Mountain is near collapse, Splash Mountain got saved from collapse last year, Big Thunder needs a refurb and Rock N Rollercoaster is pretty rough right now.
One added on? Or just at least one coaster at each park.Yes, one at each park.
I know this is your personal opinion, but I disagree. The majority of Disneys thrill rides are thrilling but not too thrilling. What is wrong with adding a few higher thrilling rides to Disney? Especially with how Disney themes their rides. I guess what I'm trying to say, would it be a problem to add more thrill to Disney?Rockin' Roller Coaster is just way too fast! I still have to ride once every time I visit Disney. I think Disney needs an additional thrill ride E ticket in each park, too. I agree. May I ask though what you think needs to be done to Rock N Rollercoaster?Yes they do but in the meantime I wish they properly maintained the ones they have. I can ride Rock N Rollercoaster at Disneyland Paris over and over (which I regularly do) and be totally fine but I always get off WDW's version with bad neck and headache, every single time. Both versions have the exact same track layout and stuff so obviously there is something off with WDW's one for this to happen.I agree. May I ask though what you think needs to be done to Rock N Rollercoaster?
6 ughh. We'll have to disagree on that, I think the screen debate has been overdone across this site and most others but the 3 rides I mentioned are pretty incomparable, beyond screens.
Ps. Count how many rides at Epcot use screens. Just not as effectively.
