If anything, they'd get the ride from Disneyland. You're asking a bit much for all 3, i doubt there would be enough space for it.

Seems like there can be enough space if other things were replaced and expanded upon.

Also, it's not too much if you compare it to TWO harry potter lands at Universal and much more than 3 attractions and little entertainments.

I think what needs to happen is the show needs to be tweaked every few years for the better. They can add more to it, change the plot, there is no need to change it from Indy but they could try to make it a different experience every few years. It's not a ride, it's not even a show where the music and dancing is critical so no reason it needs to remain static.

I noticed Uni saw a huge gain in attendance. They have made great use of the space they have. I mean in the last decade alone they managed to add Harry Potter to both their parks and the Simpsons, while bringing in a bunch of newer rides and keeping many of their classics

Just a general question and poll... Am I the only one out there that loves the Indiana Jones show?? I've always personally thought that HS needs an Indy-themed land that features the coaster, the disneyland ride AND this show. I think that'd be a huge success.

Back on topic though.. Does anyone else out there love this show and want it to stay in the park? I bring this question up because 1), there's always been the rumors about this show being replaced and 2), It's confusing to tell how many people either like or dislike this show on these forums.

I was torn between the first and last option. I ultimately chose the last option that while I like it, they need to change things up. When you think about it, it's based on a 1981 movie. They can pick a more recent movie that uses stunts.

Since it is a shell of its former self, yes, replace it. We did not go this last trip. It is like LMA, one and done.

Neither did I. Since I went on a SWW, I used the time otherwise spent on the stunt shows (4:30 LMA, 5:15 Indy) to visit Darth's Mall instead. It was the only time available to me.

Agree about the ride but I would retheme Dinoland in AK to S. America. Then retheme DINOSAUR to Indy with an Amazon premise. It's the same track as the ride in DL.

I agree with the first part of your post... But what classics have they actually kept? They replaced JAWS with Harry Potter, Back to the Future with The Simpsons.. Nickelodeon with Blue Man Group/Despicable Me. Beetlejuice's show is now a pop show (which really sucks now, sadly. Look it up dx)

Are you referring more to the former "Lost Continent" coasters?? That would probably make more sense, but the first thing I imagine as "classic universal" is things like ghost busters, jaws, ect... E.T. Adventure is just about all they have left!

Does nobody find the gaps inbetween the stunts very long? And the crowd interaction bordering on cringeworthy? Diasaster in Universal is much better at involving the audience I feel, manages to be genuinely funny and have a laugh at both them and itself. I really think the premise of a stunt show doesn't fit into Indiana Jones. Iv'e mentioned rollercoasters already, but I think we all know that if Universal had the rights to Indy they'd really utilise it to be a great ride/attraction!

It would seem like WDW's Indy Stunt Show is basically on the same terms as the Voyage of Sinbad stunt show at Universal! Go figure.

ghost busters? I don't even remember that one. Back to the Future was eh...never one of my favorites. I guess in my book the only classics, what was there opening day are ET(still there), Jaws(very missed) and Kong (and he is coming back!)

It would be nice to have a show and a ride. Would that ever be possible? Maybe a "pre-show" into a ride? Oh well.... either way something needs to be updated/changed! Poor DHS needs another ride of some sort.:(

But your book isn't really an official list.. And two of those that you listed don't exist.

As for Kong.. That's like saying Disney World kept a classic attraction with Snow White even though they replaced the Snow White dark ride with a roller coaster.. That doesn't really add up.

Bob Iger's philosophy is to align with the new films isn't it? (Star Wars) So maybe in a few years when Disney get going with the new Indy film they'll start doing something?

Sadly Universal pay no respect to the classics......

Yet, the changes seem to have been for the better! A sad thing for the classic attraction fans... But replacing classics seem to be working.

Disney has a unique situation, though. They could NEVER get away with replacing Jungle Cruise with, say, an indiana jones thrill ride. Or Peter Pan's Flight with a new simulator. They barely got away with doing such to Mr. Toad. The fan base for Disney is much stronger and more affective than Universal's classic attraction fan base.

So Universal doesn't seem to worry or care about it, knowing that the replacement will draw in 10X more crowds than Jaws, King Kong or Back to the Future would. It's just a totally different situation at Uni.

Oh I know that, I'm not disputing it. I just wish for a hybrid I guess....... I suppose the ideal situation is a mix of Universal and Disney's philosophy. For example, give Back to the Future an upgrade like that of Star Tours.
One classic that hasn't been mentioned is the Terminator, I'm hoping that will stick around with the release of the new film etc. Jaws and Back to the Future will always be missed though!

I'm a huge Indian Jones fan. With that said I've only seen the show 3 times in the past 2 decades. I still find the show entertaining and fun. I took friends for their first time to WDW last year and they thoroughly enjoyed the show.
