By the way, talking about British accent... well, people here think it's really beautiful! But they usually say this about American accent too... I have a friend that says that a guy who speaks English always "gets her going"... I don't see a point in this. What if the guy is a freak? Or an A :zipit: :zipit: hole? Well, she hooks up with them just because they are "gringos"! :brick: Anyway... I like English very much, but not to that extent! :lol:

My mom fell for my dad's "gringo" accent :lol: My accent of weakness is an Australian accent... *sigh* :lol: You are right, if they turn out to be jerks the accent is no longer important. Their behavior is much more important than an accent.

Yeah! :lol: Well, I have to confess that a guy speking English sounds much more charming than a Brazilian one to me... Anyway, I married a Brazilian guy, and he wouldn't like this conversation very much! :zipit:

Let's hope your husband doesn't read these boards.
Portuguese is a beautiful language and wouldn't mind hearing it from time to time. I guess we just like to hear accents that are different than we are normally accustomed to. Hearing a west coast accent doesn't do much for me because I hear it everyday.

I'll admit that an accent from New Zealand and Australia sound alike to me except for the pronounciation of the r's.
