Actually, I think they are released 190 days in advance.

Go to this web site:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/

Click on the little calendar symbol to the right of today's date at the top of the page. Scroll through the months and you will see that the schedules are currently available through March 31, 2014, which is 190 days away from today.

March 31, 2014 is the first day of my next vacation to Disney World so I have been checking every day to see the schedules. They have been releasing the schedule day by day, 190 days out, for the last few weeks.

They are definitely out but are subject to change and frequently do, mostly on the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios parks, more so than Animal Kingdom or EPCOT, those are usually pretty stable once released. Hope this helps!! Marie

No, it is my experience that they are not out at the 180 day mark. They tend/trend to be out 6 months in advance. So its natural to think that 180 days is 6 months. But its not exactly like that. Here is what happened to me this year while waiting to make ADR's. August 1st would be 6 months to Feb 1st. (we are traveling in Feb 2014) So about August 1st 2014, the hours should have been released for Feb 2014, And they were not. They did not get released for weeks after. I know this b/c I was anxious to make my ADR's which was Aug 25 (my 180 day mark). And for all the folks who had travel days earlier in Feb, they had to make their ADR's with out knowing the park hours. I contacted Disney several times about this and had several conversations with them about this. Here is a link to that thread.

I will say that this is the first time in all my years of traveling (with the exception of the disaster of the computer system upgrade/online dining year) that they were not released and had to wait so long. But I just wanted you to know that according to Disney, they are typically out about 6 months in advance, but you can wait and might have to make ADR's with out them. And as others have said, they are subject to change. You can use touringplans.com and other sites to help you make predictions.

They usaully come out right at the 6 month mark. Seem like they always come out a few days before I make my ADRS at the 180 mark so you should be good. I will say to be safe, look at the prior years hours for the month you are visiting to get a sense of when the parks open and close. I have done this quite often in the past and have found the hours to be very similar year to year.
