Does anyone else have a brainwashed Disney Kid?

My youngest son is four years old and has been to Disneyworld every year of his life so far. He loves nothing better than watching our holiday videos in Disneyworld. He loves Mickey Mouse and everything Disney. But on a recent trip to his classroom we noticed his family picture that he painted in school. He had himself, his mother, father, big brother and sister. We also noticed a sixth figure, it was mickey mouse. He had painted six in our family. I suppose it doesn't help when all our family pictures around the house were taken in Disneyworld and mickey mouse is in them all. Have we brainwashed him???

My 18 year-old daughter has been taken to the parks regularly since she was very young. To this day, she says that she would go to the parks every day during her spare time if we lived in the Orlando area. I feel sorry for the guy that she marries.

My daughter is just as much a Disney nut as her little brother. She is 15 now and like her brother has been going to Disneyworld since she was 9 months old. She says she is going to have her wedding there, so I too feel sorry for the guy she marries. I hope he likes Disney too and even more that he can afford to take her there!!! I think I have brainwashed the whole family!!!

I started taking my kids to WDW when my son was 3 and my daughter was 1. Over the next 4 years I took them on 10 WDW vacations and 2 Disney Cruises. Then we moved to California and I began taking them to Disneyland every couple weeks and they just loved it!

You'd think I have Disney freaks in the making, right? WRONG!

After a couple months of living in California my kids became entirely sick of Disney. They want nothing to do with Disney World or Disneyland anymore. If we ask them if they'd like to go to Disneyland for the day, they give us a very adamant NO. They feel that going there is almost a form of punishment.

So I've stopped bringing them and now I just go by myself. I think their limit was 10 visits to each Disney in a 5 year period.

That's adorable! There's nothing better than being a Disney freak, he's just got an early start! My whole family is like that, including my grandparents. I'm 15 and I still doodle Mickey Ears all over my math binder and count down the days to our trips and I love every minute of it!

Hee. I've got a totally brainwashed little one. We're going on her 7th trip to Disney in April.. and she's only 2 1/2!

She pretends that we've been to Disney all the time. Sings Small World, Big Blue World, and One Little Spark at the top of her lungs when we're in grocery stores. She sleeps with Figment and her toy monorail. She sits in front of my laptop screensaver watching all of our trip photos rotate. If you ask her where things are in the parks, she can actually guide you around like it's her own backyard.

When we left this January she wailed "Nooo! Not go home, go back to the room! Go back to Old Key West!"

This is the only thing we spoil her with. Poor thing has very few toys, and we live pretty frugally. But Disney is our one splurge. :D

Not old, just vintage.
Nothing wrong with a little Disney brain washing. I was totally that kid in school who doodled Disney characters all over my papers and put Mouse ears on everyone in my family portraits.

Yeah...DD is definately a Disney kid. We all watch the Disney Channel constantly. All of her story books involve Disney characters. The only movies we watch as a family are Disney ones...except Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. She sings It's A Small World all the time. And when the WDW DVD came the other day, she was more excited than I.
