Wow, I haven't rode that thing in years, I knew it was still there, but is it operational? We just don't go to that part of the park, since there is now a Dinosaur simulator ride with a space shuttle outside as it's main attraction  :hammer:

This is what I thought of "This is a towering 20-story turbo drop freefall ride without a speed - or scream - limit!"

No, actually, that's one of those things where one tower shoots you up and the other drops you down fast...

Come to think of it, now that they're building TOT at DCA... would they still need to keep this??? :veryconfu

Do you still have to pay for the one at Sea World? I remember last time I went (about 5 years ago) you had to pay to go on their observation tower... It was pretty cool, but to pay for something when you already paid admission?!

I've been on that one on a rainy 40 degree day!

Meanmice, that is what I thought of at first, too, before I read the other responses. Either way, not an interesting addition to a Disney park.

The only place something like that might fit in would be DTD. Definitely not at one of the parks due to seeing backstage stuff.
It would still be pushing it at DTD, but I could see it MAYBE.

What I miss is the Skyway in MK that they got rid of back in '99. I thought that was pretty neat and made for a cool over-view experience. Kind of sad to have seen those go. But, life goes on.

Yeah..that thing still works (when the park is open of course)... When I drive up to Wisconsin and pass it on the Tollway... its running....

About the Dino Simulator...lol... that is kinda lame... My Uncle was part of the crew that built that shuttle ride... and the pre show mission control room. I think they have a new space theamed movie for that thing...to replace the Dino thing... but I am not certain. :)
