I would love to see a show dedicated to the parks. Maybe just a half hour here and there talking about whats new. I think it would also be interesting to have some kind of call in type show where hosts who are Disney experts would answer questions from interested Disney goers. Alright maybe that's a little too much dreaming by me.

That would be wonderful to have a channel devoted to Disney that shows old films like the Spin and Marty series, the classic movies like Swiss Family Robinson and Flubber and the wonderful old cartoons. They could toss in some shows from the parks like they used to years ago showing the different attractions, etc.

Just have to point out for someone that doesn't watch the Disney channel when all these tweeny shows are on you sure know a lot of them lol :ROFLOL:
Ive only heard of two of those shows, hannah and high School musical.

But i will admit ive been know to be up when handy Mandy was on and have watched it lol

I have seen them with my nephews and niece. I have been to other peoples houses while their kids were watching the tween shows. Plus Disney crams them down our throats. You cannot go to the Disney site without seeing them advertised. You see all of the merchendise in the stores like Wal Mart and Target. It's all over the place. So that is why I am so knowledgable about them. Plus I did watch a few of them once....but only once. I believe in giving everything a chance...but after I did...ugh!!!!

it's ridiculous that there isn't a classic Disney channel.

i don't think a lot of kids even know Walt Disney was an actual person.

there is NOTHING on the Disney channel as far as I know that promotes the parks...which is hard to believe. i remember when i was a kid there was always specials about the parks and behind the scenes stuff. i remember when a new attraction was opening there was a 2 hour special on it.

well if Disney Junior is replacing play house disney will mickey mouse club house and handy manny be gone for good....I sure hope not...my little man will be destroyed. I say farewell to chugginton...way to whinny.

That's going to be the new line up(not in that order). They are keeping the successful shows but basically adding some shows for the K-3rd grade groups. With the current set up, you have preschool shows and teen shows but nothing for the inbetween audience.

Watching I've noticed that disney channel adds like a classic cartoon once a day or something haha

I really would like the idea of the original Toon Disney to reapear.

Disney Channel has nearly gotten rid of the original characters, which are so much more entertaining than the awful tween sitcoms

So is Disney Junior replacing just the timeslot on the Family Channel, or is it replacing the Playhouse Disney Channel, or both?

We finally got the Playhouse Disney Channel here a few months ago before that we only got the Playhouse Disney shows on the Family Channel.

The only other show I like is Phineas & Ferb!
