Do you think Disney will finally fix the Yeti after Universal opens their new King Kong ride?

Exactly, the yeti was really the WOW moment for me. Yea the drop is fun but to enter the cave and see this enormous yeti trying to have you for lunch was pretty awesome. Unfortunately to many people now have no idea of the full glory of the yeti so therefor like to say things like "it's 2 seconds who cares get over it". Disney should be embarrassed beyond anything over the yeti, but they do not care at all. With the yeti EE is taken to the next level, without it, it's a pretty average coaster with a fantastic theme.

Couldn't disagree more, though I'm certainly fine that you're entitled to your opinion. I've experienced EE both with the working Yeti and without (mostly without) and nothing at all is missed by it not working. It goes by so fast that there isn't any "full glory" to be seen. It's a "blink and you miss it" moment out of the entire 3+ minutes of the attraction. Disney has no reason to be embarrassed over it. What they SHOULD be embarrassed over is letting garbage like Dino-Rama exist anywhere in its parks.

It's amazing how many people don't care about "details" when they're paying thousands of dollars to experience them.

There are far more, and better, details to experience in WDW than the ones that speed by you in a fraction of a second. At least that's how I see it. Most other things visitors will have the chance to stop, look at it, and take it in. That's not the case with the yeti......unless the ride breaks down in that particular spot.

No, it's not stating my opinion as fact. It's questioning why people are upset over something that can barely be seen. I guess you haven't learned the difference yet.....and at this rate you probably won't. Ok, you passed on tossing in more lies about me, but then threw in an obvious lie about yourself because you clearly DO care that I don't share your opinion on it. LOL.....silly kid.
Just because you don't notice something does not mean others also do not notice. You not seeing much of the figure doesn't change that others clearly saw it and it's intended motion.

That was precisely the point we all tried to make to them earlier, but as usual it was lost.

The legand of the Forbidden Mountain is that decades ago there was a happy Yeti that would entertain guests daily. Then one day, the evil Beanconter froze him forever with one swift stroke of the pen. It is really a quite touching tale, and Disney storytelling at it's finest.

And my point, which was clearly lost on others, is that it also doesn't change the fact that we're talking about something possibly seen within a split second of time.....whether anyone sees it or not, it's hardly something to get upset about. It changes nothing about the ride experience itself. It's not as if we're talking about a stationary object like Cinderella's Castle that, for example, could have a very noticeable bad paint job on it and is just left that way. That is something everyone would notice and so would need to be fixed.

I've already pointed out where you've clearly lied, so there's no need to do it again. Your ongoing arguing disproves your own statement, because it's clear you do care if people view your opinion as valid. You, though, clearly can't see that among Disney visitors at large who ride EE, YOU are in the minority on being so up in arms over something so trivial and which the vast majority of people either don't know about, or do know about it and don't care. Just because I don't feel the Yeti movement is the greatest thing in the history of mankind - as you appear to do - and don't agree with your feeling that it needs to be fixed, then to you I have to be wrong. And there you go with TWO more lies: I DO like the ride (love it in fact) and I DO see the point in investing in the parks. Why would you now so blatantly lie like that? I don't agree with your view on this trivial part of EE, and that's my right. Why that gets you so upset (probably to the point of tears), who knows.

So.... no proof that I lied. Just a "Nanny nanny boo boo" statement? I tell what I am going to do for you. I'm going to delete all of my comments directed at you, place you into my ignore list with the other three morons I have in there, and give you what you deserve. No attention from me. Now, you go ahead and make a childish last statement if you must (we all know you will), and rest assured I will not see it. BUT, you will have the satisfaction of getting the last word and "feeling" like you have won. ;)

More than enough proof of your lies....and openly exposed for everyone to see, too.

You must have sat in the front car. If you sat towards the rear of the train the working Yeti was amazing. Dino-rama was designed to look like a cheap roadside carnival so they succeeded very well in their theme. Unfortunately it is that very theme that seems to everyone off.

No, I was situated in the middle of the train......the train that for everyone was still rushing past it so the creature could only be seen for a split second. It takes more than something that whizzes by in a split second and can barely be noticed to impress me. Perhaps if they had located it at the top of the mountain with the ripped up track.....where you get stuck there for about 10 seconds.....then I could see wanting it fixed.

If the show starts at the first car the rear car gets to see more of it. In my opinion it is a great part of the show and it needs to be fixed. It is still a fun ride without it and I ride it every trip but it is not as great as it would be if it were all working again. It is these things that separates Disney from Six Flags etc.

I have to compliment you that you can discuss it as a civilized person (unlike some other immature ones who feel you have to agree with them). Everyone's entitled to their opinion on it. If it really enhanced the ride for you and you miss it, I get that and why you'd want to see it working again. Personally I didn't think much of it when it was working, and just don't understand why something that goes by so quickly can make that much difference to people. But that's just me.
