Do You Realize?

With Nemo pulling down $70M so far this weekend (including my fams $25 in with that a few hours ago) its GOT to get something BIG added to a park in the next 12 months.

I know its only day 3 of the movies' run, but look what happened with Toy Story.

MAYBE this will be the driving force to have something replace 20K. Its going to take a ton of $$$$$ to refrib or replace that area...but this could be it!!!

I am still shocked that WDW doesn't have an attraction for any Pixar movie besides Toy Story...

Bug's Life...INCREDIBLE
and now...with the money that is coming in for Nemo...

Nemo sounds like it would be great in the Living Seas (but I'd definitely prefer something in the 20K lagoon) (Leave the kid's play area in the grotto...add a Nemo ride or attraction in the lagoon...there...done...a "water section" of Fantasyland devoted to sea characters)

Well a Finding Nemo ride in 20K lagoon would be a great idea!!!!!:sohappy: Disney does have rides based on Pixar movies, they have the Buzz Lightyear ride in Magic, that is great, and they have the great show in AK that is "It's Tough to be a Bug", so Disney does make great attractions based on Pixar movies...... :wave:

and there's "a bug's land" at Disney's California Adventure...so Flik is covered Monsters, Inc...well...now that Nemo is out, I'm guessing they would go with it first, and I could see the new Car stunt show tying into the 2005 Disney/Pixar release Cars...not sure what they could do with The Incredibles, coming out November 2004, since I don't really understand its plot yet...the teaser was just that...a teaser

I say that they should make a pixar land in the Disney-MGM Studios. I mean with all the Disney/Pixar movies being hits. The can't go wrong. They really should think about more movie scripts for after cars comes out.

They should just make an old fasion "dark ride" combining Monsters INC and Finding Nemo and stick it at epcot or AK. I think the AK could really really use a dark ride because they dont really have one.

I guess everyone had this idea.. i was thinking about it in the car after the movie. The question is, what do you put there so that it is not as maintenance intensive as 2KLUTS? I think its a great idea, but what kind of ride/attraction do you make?

A Bug's Life has two attractions.

-It's Tough To Be A Bug-Animal Kingdom
-Flik's Playground-Disney California Adventure(just opened, I believe)

Hopefully a Nemo ride is in the works, as it has collected 77 million(counting Monday) and I predict it'll make it clean over 200 million, with 300 as a possibility, but I don't think it will get that far.

Before a Nemo attraction comes in, I defenetly think that a Monsters Inc Ride should come in. I have heard that Universe of Energy would be rethemed to have Sully and Mike host the show...that would be cool. But a ride soely devoted to them would be awesome.

Mabey they could put Nemo in the Living Seas. I think they should mak an entire ride devoted to "underwater" movies (2000 Leauges, Nemo, Little mermaid....uh....Bedknobs and broomsticks?)

all i know is that like i said before- after being stuck in a downward spiral, it seems that wdw is finally turning itself around an witin the next few years will be just as great/ probably even better than the disney we knew and loved of about 10 years ago

-also love the nemo idea (in the 2kluts lagoon) however i think disney will unfortunantly be holding off for a while with creating any major new attractions incorporating pixar films- seeing that disney might loose the right to those films if there is a fallout between the two companies ::crosses fingers::

While Pixar might not renew their contract with Disney, this would only cause Disney to not have the rights to films released after 2005's "Cars." Disney owns 50% of all the Pixar films up to "Cars" and no falling out will change that.

I think a Monsters Inc ride would be awesome to add to AK or Epcot. Like I said a Dark ride with the chracters would add a lot to AK since there is not dark ride really...
