Do you have a "by myself" spot at Disney?

I usually escape at Pop Century by grabbing a drink and walking along Memory Lane alone, it's that really long path that goes from one side of the resort to the other with loads of information boards about what happened each year between 1950 to 2000 along the way.

Where do you get a black cherry swirl ice cream? I'm not aware of that! I don't care if the Queen was travelling with me I'm not doing RnRc for anyone!
I got the ice cream from the little snack cart there by RnRC. We haven't been back since 2008 so it may be gone now. But I hope not, it was so good.

I agreed to go on it because with her going there will be 4 of us. So no one will be alone and we got the photo pass+ an we want to get every picture possible with all of us in it. I will probably only do it once, unless I get drunk on black cherry swirl ice cream.:D

In MK, our spot as a family is CoP. Every time we feel overwhelmed, we just go in there, sit in the AC, watch the nice little show and relax for a few minutes. In Epcot, we go the The Land and just sit in the cafeteria. The kids can ride the boat ride a few times while we just grab a quick bite. We don't have a spot at HS because we're never there that long. Same with AK, although we have gone to that "Dig Site" in the past when my son was younger and just let the kids play in the sand. But that was only once. Besides that, my DH and I spend a lot of time on the balcony at night when the kids go to bed. We can't be in the room because they're trying to sleep. So we grab a bottle of wine and just take in the sights and sounds of the waterfall and the lake. It's a nice way to end the day.

The garden area by Katsura Grill on a slow night is a good spot for me to chill out for a minutes while everyone is in the Japan gift shop. Quick little get away for an adult beverage.

My DH and I like to walk along Rivers of America boardwalk at night...it's so quiet over there. Another favorite quiet spot is walking around our resort in the early morning and/or taking a stroll from WL to Trail's End breakfast buffet at FW...quiet and lots of animals.

Ever been at Disney with the family and want to escape to have some time alone? When the group is being indecisive and the kids are getting tired and fussy, I "escape" and head to Rose and Crown, have a Boddingtons and sit on the patio overlooking WSL....niiiice and quiet. It helps me recharge and enjoy a few moments by myself with no distractions. After a while, I remember that my wife has her KTTW card with charging privileges and is most likely "spending" some quality time at the shops....time to regroup! Does anyone else have a special spot they enjoy being at alone and away from the group for awhile? (note: I don't abandon my family, I only go to R&C if I know the herd will be o.k. without me for awhile)

Brilliant idea...I like it there too
