Every time I'm there, I'm wayyy too excited about all the entertainment around that I don't really care for food. Ice cream? Cupcakes? No thanks. I need to ride the big girl rides and don't want to risk the chance of throwing up! I go in the morning and I usually have breakfast with several friends at ihop or something and we eat something at Disney for lunch and we're good till the park closes. I don't have the urge to snack or eat unhealthy things, even though I'm on vacation! It only applies to Disney though.. any other vacation spot and I gain weight!

I usually lose 5-10 lbs during our vacation. I don't eat a whole lot...usually Pop Tarts in the room, an ice cream around lunch time, and Cosmic Rays for dinner, and the walking takes care of the rest.

I typically gain weight - like 5-8 pounds a visit. I think the reason is that I usually work out pretty vigorously at home (running 5K, kick boxing, lifting, etc.) 5 times a week and only consume about 1200-1500 calories a day on average. So, the walking in Disney World really isn't a "work out" for me, and I eat like a crazy person. I have at least one ice cream treat a day, cupcakes, cookies, huge meals, pizza daily, etc. etc. etc. I just let myself indulge like crazy becauase I just don't eat those kinds of things a lot at home. To be fair, I eat so much more at Disney because it just tastes so much better. And, I usually take the weight right off when I get home. So, it's really not much sweat off my back (pun intended) to just divulge!

I always gain weight, it never fails. I don't honestly think the walking is much more than I usually walk anyways, I walk everywhere when I'm at school, and I walk everywhere while I'm working in Boston over the summer. So I think I basically just eat more/more fattening and gain weight. Oh well, its worth it, haha.

I don't eat a lot of desserts or sweets, and I don't eat a lot, in general, so the constant motion combined with a little excess caloric intake usually ends up being a deficit. On the whole, I'd say that I average anywhere between 2-4 pounds lost on a trip.

I would like to be in competent marathon shape at around this time next year, though, and I can see gaining weight on a Disney trip once I reach that point.
