Do you bring camelbacks to the park with you?

I'd imagine that getting the free water at the restaurants and putting that in a Brita bottle, that would help maybe clear up some of the taste... if not, just get some Mio or Crystal Light...

No Kool-Aid though... There's already enough people on the Disney Kool-Aid:cautious::jawdrop::p

I've often wanted to take mine, but usually get talked out of doing so. I don't really want to carry a rucksack all day for just water when it's only during the day I would really want it.
I have taken it to the water parks though.

I would get a proper Camelbak rather than one of the cheap imitations as they are much better built and you don't worry about having them break. (You can drive a car over a Camelbak bladder without it popping.

They make some neat small ones (for Cycling) which wouldn't be much to carry.....all depends if you would be carrying a rucksack anyway. Also, are you all comfortable sharing the same straw?
The bonus is that if you get an insulated one, it will keep the water cold for hours.

Personally, I wouldn't want to carry more than 3 litres...past that and it's going to start getting heavy. You can always refill it later, using a cup if needed.

How heavy would 40 liters of water be? It's gotta be heavy!
A litre of water weighs 1kg (2.2lb), so 40 litres is 40kg or 88lb. Wouldn't want to lug that about!

We usually do six or so frozen bottles of water per person per day. Seeing someone suck on a straw attached to their backpack makes them look as foolish as someone with a selfie stick and socks-with-Crocs IMO.
you carry 6 frozen bottles of water PER PERSON on you every day? All i can picture is all of you walking around like Rambo with a bandolier filled with water bottles!

I just carry a water bottle in my pocket and load up from the water fountains. I know those of you that have seen my pictures on the reports are like, "dude, have you seen yourself", but I promise you I looked like that before drinking Florida water!

Those of you who take those giant things into the parks with you...please be careful when you are standing on the bus with them on your back. They aren't fun to get hit in the face with.

There's only two of us and the baby. If we go back to the hotel in the afternoon it's only six bottles in the morning and six in the evening.

Or when you are in line for a ride or show. Also, I wish they had a security bag check for those that bring in jam packed backpacks. We went once with my husband's family and my brother in law was hauling a major backpack every day, full of bottled waters, snacks, sunblock, etc., By day three they were getting the free cups of ice water and ditching the backpack.

Side note: The camelbacks kind of gross me out. No way would I want to share a straw w my whole family. Is there a way to clean them each day? I don't really know much about them, other than what I have seen in the parks, but it doesn't appeal to me. just saying, I'd rather go get a drink as needed.

Wow I don't think I drink 12 bottles of water in the whole nine days we are there, and Im sure not going to carry it.

 OMG, you poor dehydrated people!!

My mother nor I can even go out for a few errands that we don't need at least 24oz of water! And it has to be ice cold. My 21-month old is a big water drinker too and wants his ice cold. We're thirsty people.

You can also purchase very inexpensive water bottle carry-straps and then fill up your bottle throughout the day. You really don't want to be hauling around a ton of stuff all day. Less is definitely more when you're in the parks.

I used to think the same way, "I don't need water"... Trust me, your body will feel better if you drank more water everyday...not just at the world.
When I quit smoking I started giving up coke and mountain dew. I try to drink 64 ounces of water during the day, at night I know I drink more than that... and treat myself to a sweet tea in the late afternoon.
I feel way better, I'm more allert, I'm not starving for good all the time, and I don't have headaches...ever.
Water is important man, it's something you should consider

If you've got multiple people having to drink the water, doesn't a Camelbak become less practical, not to mention unsanitary?
I thought the whole point of these things is that it's a personal hydration system.

OMGoodness! Love love love the Dwight Shrute reference! Cracked me right up! Watching him was like driving slowly past a car wreck, you don't want to look, but you just can't help yourself! Sparkle on!

I don't see the point when there is a water fountain or beverage stand with free water ever 100'. Most I ever carry with me is a bottle of water and just refill it during the day from a water fountain.

Its not like you're hiking through the desert without and source of potable water around for miles or biking the Tour de France

Lol, I guess I just drink less than most people. If I drank that much water or anything I would never be able to eat a bite I would be so full.
