I agree its our vacation our money and as for being a "trap" Who cares about there opinion! Millions and Millions of ppl can't all be wronge, sure you find naysayers everywhere but it is the ppl that have never been that always stir my ire! To answer your question then is YES..but all of us here on this site, and several others, know why we do it. And i'm sure each and everyone of us have diffrent and varing reasons why we love The Mouse so much! "Its just Disney" well to them I say YOUR RIGHT and I'm going AGAIN....

Do people get mad at you when you tell them that your going back to WDW? I just made my reservations for Nov. and my friends are upset I'm going back, again. (10 years anniversary, married in DL, honeymooned in WDW!) Funny thing is, none of these people have ever been to the world but, all share the same view that it is Disneyland east. Also, I noticed with co-workers that they seem to travel to the same haunts and unwittingly only recommend these places. Like Mr. why don't you try Hawaii? And when you explain to them that you have and explain to them the perks of WDW they get even more angry and accuse you of living in a Disney themed house and life? Which I only minorly do! But anyways, I'm going back, I don't care what anybody says. I will visit Mexico and, when I get tired, I'll go over to Japan and parts beyond.:sohappy:
Yes...my sister-in-law got mad at my mother-in-law when my in-laws decided to come w/ us to WDW this year.
It will be the 1st time that they have been in over 20 yrs.!
My sister-in-law interupted my mother-in-law during one conversation about her WDW trip & said that she did not want to hear anything else about it.
I thought that was so sad!
My mother-in-law is just excited.
:sohappy:
Anyway, needless to say, she does not talk to my sister-in-law about the trip anymore...so sad!:(

my mom's as nuts as I am :ROFLOL:
She's probably on here as much as me,too
But as far as others go, yeah, we get the "why would you want to go there again?" and the "jeez, how can you people afford to keep going there"

Never more than 2 weeks away from a WDW visit

We go to WDW from Naples FL every other weekend and I can't think of a better place to be...there certainly isn't a better place in Naples.
and there aren't very many other places that offer anything better aside from a National Park (I've been to the Great Smoky Mtns many times)
Better environment to be in, in so many ways:
Landscape and waterworks
Restaurants and unique little stands
Cultural encounters, friendly employees and guests, and fantasy characters
Craftmanship, architecture, theming
Experience History, Fantasy, the Future, and thrills, fireworks,
Live entertainment of all sorts, including animals
Attention to detail
and more
Where else can you get all of this...and in one place

Why do I go so often? Why don't you go more often?:brick:

I've found that when you 'stay home' you actually spend less quality time with your family even though you are trapped inside with them. You have a tendence to do what you want...dd watch Disney Channel, while I sit at the computer and TV (checking these boards). Nothing really wrong or unusual, everyone needs time for themselves and to do things individually.
BUT if you go to WDW with your family, you spend all day with them, talking with them, eating with them, experiencing things together with them...each other enjoying each other enjoying each other...a wicked circle of happiness:sohappy:

Life is short, do what you want. If it makes you happy to go to WDW then go! Make as many memories as you can in life, take lots of pictures of those you love and be a good person. I don't have room in my short life for negativity, in any shape form or fashion. So I ignore "those" comments and go about my business!

No one "gets mad" at me, but I certainly do get those questions. I just throw it back at them; "I could sit on the beach for a week and read a book 2 miles from my house...tell me again why I'd fly somewhere to go to...a...beach?"

To each their own. :)
