Do I Need To Change This???

On our upcoming trip we are celbrating both our "belated" honeymoon and our daughter's 4th birthday. I swear I ahve talked to DIsney 15 times and each time they asked if we were celbrating anything and each time I told them exactly what we were. This last time we called and added the DP and was asked the same question. When sent our confirmation, the women had noted it was our daughter's 5th birthday. I know that they some times do special things for birthdays, but does it matter that it is her 4th and not 5th? Is anything normally "personalized?" Just wondering if I need to call and update that. TIA!

Most of what they do is generic "Happy Birthday" stuff, but in case Mickey notices and writes "5th" somewhere, it wouldn't hurt to call and correct it [after all, Mickey wouldn't get it wrong, would he?]

I would call and get it straight. They have done the same thing on ours - go that it was my DH's bday but also that it is our 5th Anniversary this year - they keep putting 4th. Just call and ask them to correct it.

I would call and have them fix it....its an easy fix (hopefully you have a cellphone so you don't have to pay for a long distance phone call)
My DH and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the World...Mickey & Minnie left us a personalized picture, with their autographs... to us...they indeed wrote "Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary" on it:sohappy:

My dh and I just celebrated our 50th last year and was very surprised when a gentleman came to our door with a card from Mickey and Minnie, plus 3 balloons and best of all, champaign with two champaign glasses. Very cool!:)

4 or 5 days before you're scheduled to arrive, send them a fax with that information as well. In doing some research, I read that rooms are assigned 3 or 4 days in advance. The person doing the room assignments also help with planning and noting special events. I sent them a fax about my son's birthday, and one day when we returned back to our room, he had a birthday card and balloons from mickey. He did not give his age, but just in case, I'd put it on the fax. Make it festive and it'll get more notice as well. I've also had the same problems you've had, but a fax is something that can't be erased when they change screens!

Most room assignments are now being done 1 day prior to arrival, if at all prior to a guest standing at the front desk. There is a big push to get guests into clean and ready rooms when they check in so preassigning rooms unless part of a travel with, magical gathering, or special needs room isn't happening as much as in years past.

They do sometimes note the year, so I would let them know. We have went on our anniversary twice and were given a really nice dessert at Boma with Happy 15th Anniversary written on it and last year Happy 16th was presented to us at Le Cellier. DH always lets them know when he is making the ressies.
