We're usually checking in at our resort somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes after leaving the plane.

That should put you in the 9:45 - 10:15 range at your resort, which should give you plenty of time to get to MK for a 12:45 ADR.

My guideline I use and give to friends, is if you do it right, you can be in a park right around 2 hours from your landing time. This all depends on who needs to use rest rooms, stop for a smoke, etc. I usually hop on line to checkin for the DME, while DD and my mom go to the bathroom. Mom then goes out for a smoke. By that time, I am done, and we are directed to a bus.

I usually leave my carry-on luggage at the luggage check at the hotel, and then walk out the door and onto the line for the park we are going to.

If you room is ready at that time (you have a 50/50 shot at that), and you go up the room, of course it's going to take longer.
