One of the most charming aspects of The Haunted Mansion is right at the very end of the experience. Just when you thought it was over, ghoulish laughter awaits you at the exit. It's only the world's most obvious speaker once you notice it, which isn't very difficult. But are you supposed to? Do they expect you to turn and react in the direction of the laughter? We'll never know. No one else will ever question this. All that matters is it's super charming.
You can even hear it from outside the exit. It can be directly compared to the "Ghost Horse" effect in that it's a supernatural sound which can be heard outside the Mansion. One doesn't work and seems to be trying its darndest to be charming, the other achieves mega charming status with remarkable skill ease and is an essential HM element. Since the turnstiles in this area were sadly removed, I've noticed that DL now seems to have its own version or versions of the "ring" that WDW's HM used to have, which was also the result of removing turnstiles. What a magical place!

This was posted on the Disney Park Blog today. I think it's a pretty cool shot of the DLRR passing by the new rock formations and falls on the ROA.

This furniture is quite awful for a variety of reasons. It's ugly, for starters. The placement of the couch is terrible. The door is already "forced perspective" miniaturized, the couch makes it look even smaller, like the door Willy Wonka opened to the chocolate room. Plus, why would there be couch in front of a door?
