Sucks that it was an april fools joke, but do you think that they might plan any of these rides anyway? Cos i think dlp needs a log flume/rapids of some sort and splash mountain would be a good ride for that i think.

Splash has been planned to fit next to the Frontierland station, though whether we`ll see it is still a maybe - though more hopeful than it used to be. Soarin' is rumoured to be next to be added to the Studios.

Well, they nearly did get Splash. EDLSCA had to choose between a hybrid Splash Mountain water based attraction, or the studios expansion of ToonTown, the ToT and Stitch. They chose the later as an obvious way of stabilising the Studios - which by all accounts is working. Once WDSP can stand on its own feet (no mean feet due to its lacklustre original planning and budget) I hear Disneyland Parc may get the next E Ride - a wet one - and then the studios will begin phase two in earnest.

That will be good then. Studios was busier than it used to be when i went this year. Especially with crush's coaster, but i think thats due to slow boarding. But that does sound good that they might make splash mountain or a water ride of some sort.
