A world of classic stories and franchises!
I think it should either be a park of franchises OR a park of classic stories. I just couldnt really imagine oz and avatar in the same park. Star wars and avatar i could see though because they are both futureish/fantasy

Then it'll be franchises cause Marvel is a franchise, Oz is becoming a franchise with the new trilogy, Star Wars is a franchise, and Avatar is becoming a franchise

Turtle, I normally love your ideas but I'm a little hurt you didn't even include Nightmare Before Christmas in Christmasland!

But even if you did, the idea just wouldn't work. The money needed to invest into these wouldn't be worth it in 20 years when most of the franchises are dead.

I have drawn elaborate plans for a Marvel Park, trust me it works. I had a Metropolitan Battle themed entrance/ land. Super Villain area. Comic court, celebrating the comics of the Marvel Company. New Shield Headquarters (The Weenie) including Professor X's Mutant School. An Incredible's Area and last but definitely not least a Stan Lee Hub! Featuring a young stan lee drawing his characters, surrounded by open comic books of his most popular heroes!

Incredibles are NOT a Marvel creation.

I agree, but then again, ioa's lands dont really fit together…marvel next to seuss, toon lagoon next to wwohp

Well... they kind of do when you break it up like this (as it was when it opened):

Marvel Island = Tomorrowland
Seuss Landing = Fantasyland
Toon Lagoon = Toon Town
Jurassic Park = Adventureland
The Lost Continent = Whoa, something unique!? (Filling the void of Frontierland)

Not knocking IOA, I went to that part a LOT when it first opened and I was still living in FL.

I think a Marvel park could be cool. Marvel is just a catalog of characters and stories much like Disney was when DL opened. So many different locales and themes to choose from if you take a few steps back and look at them as more than just comic books.

I'm aware of that. But they're heroes and the kids need something in the Park, Marvel World or something would not make sense as a name, too difficult for foreigners. Superhero Park would make more sense.

If they wanted to do a full Marvel park which I guess may of changed a bit since Star Wars announcement, but they would just simply call it Disney-Marvel Universe.

And the too difficult for foreigners please

They should make a park NOT based off of franchises.

Not everything needs a franchise attached to it these days.

Trust me it would be. Many people are not aware what Marvel meaning they might not take interest in the park. However, the world is familiar with superheroes and it can be translated into any language.

Good one you do realise the world in general love's Marvel characters(apart from maybe Captain America) right? Same with loads of the international markets hence why there is a Spiderman ride at Universal Osaka.

They know Marvel hence why Iron Man South Korea box office was $25million+, or why the UK box Office was $33million+.

They know the Marvel brand otherwise Disney wouldn't of bought them - especially considering they want more pressence in the BRIC countries.
