Well it was Walt's...it could be a connection to one Mans Dream. It could be a weenie. They could place it in the courtyard where the hat was. I'd like to have a better view of it. And it wouldnt obstruct the Chinese Theater. :p Or place it just outside the entrance gates to DHS before guests walk in.

DLP just announced some major changes to their tram tour (which is sorely in need of something). I'm hoping that includes some of the props from DHS (I've heard rumors...), although they only announced that they're adding a few new scenes. Don't know about the plane specifically, but maybe it will hop across the pond?

It would have no significance there at all. It never flew there and it wasn't used to scout out the Paris project. It only has meaning at WDW. Let's just hope that they include it somehow in the Walt Disney "One Man's Dream" attraction.

I never said it necessarily has meaning there, and it probably wouldn't be worth it to transport, but I just threw it out there as an option. One Man's Dream would make more sense, absolutely.

The plane landed on world drive with the idea it would stay permanently

And I never said you did. You just gave out an option and I tried to explain why it wouldn't happen, that is all, nothing nasty, just the way I see it.

I think it'd be a fun fit for the giant plaza out in front of the Contemporary, since the hotel is one of the oldest parts of WDW and the plane would fit the '70s aesthetic well. Plus it's right next to the STOLport.

Maybe they could squeeze it in at Grizzly Peak Airfield at DCA. To my knowledge that's the only aviation-themed land at any Disney park.

Or perhaps they could attach floaters to the plane, and park it out on the water near the Hangar in Disney Springs? Might clash with the 1930s/Indiana Jones angle they're going for.

Or perhaps just donate it to the Disney Family Museum. Still, I like the idea of keeping it on display at WDW since it's so central to the resort's history.

It could be part of a center median display on one of the roadways or a centerpiece in a parking lot with a statue of WD. Lots of ways you can honor him with this memento.
