Disneyworld.com too busy?

I tried to visit Disneyworld.com in search of some information (yes, i admit it, I was just listening to the muzak).

And a few mins ago it was sluggish, and then i went back just now and got the "Server too busy.." message.

The website hasn't been like that in ages - was something about AP rates jsut released or a new program? Was that article mentioning Disney World in the paper really that popular?

Any speculation?

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that the website is being revamped by the developer. I had no problem getting on the site numerous times yesterday ( I was booking a vacation ) and now today I can not even get the site to come up. I would guess that the website developer is changing quite a few things around, adding new animations, new pictures, stuff like that. Just a guess though, have to wait and see.

I am kind of frustarted with the whole Passholder Best Rate etc. I liked it better when there was a discount and you could just book it. This business of booking in advance is just such a pain. Anyone else feel the same way?

No, I love the new Passholder Best Rate plan. It's so much easier and I don't spend a minute waiting on hold to book my room.

My 2.5 year old is completely addicted to the Festival of the Lion King video they have on the website. He likes to watch it and then hit the play button again and again until he tires of it (usually after 10-15 viewings). Last night we got the "too many people..." message. I wonder if a big cause is people like me and the muzak listeners who are goofing around. Maybe before you access the site they should have a page pop up with the following questions -
1) Are you planning a vacation or just goofing around?
2) Seriously, are you really planning a vacation?
3) Are you sure that you are your not one of those Disney maniacs and you just logged on here to kill time?
4) Look we don't believe you. What dates are you planning on visiting?
5) We still don't believe you. Good bye.

I think that would take care of any bandwidth issues.
