Probably another invention that'll never get mainstream use.

I'm still waiting for the stretchy screens they invented for Timekeeper but never built full scale.

This seems like one that could have real world uses especially at the company itself. One that comes to mind with the current focus on disabled guests would be usable by guests who are blind. The screens in use around the park could be a huge tool for them.

Best application I can think of for this is an input device for wearable computers that the user could operate and navigate without looking at.
The frictive tactile feedback feature would let a single "screen" serve as multiple layers of input controls that the user could quickly select or change based on memory and sense of touch.
