Disney's Magical Express Question

Hello All,
Has anyone ever had two reservations booked back to back (ex. a package and an extra room-only day tacked on the end of the reservation) and then taken DME back to the airport. I am doing this for the first time and I just received my DME package in the mail and noticed that the return flight information is missing.

Does anyone know how this works? Will I still get my DME notice the day before departure at my resort?

I've never done it that way but I did it the opposite way. We had a vacation booked and due to snow we had to change our flights the last minute and book and extra day at the resort. Just call the DME express number and have them update your information. You won't have a problem.

There's a number in the booklet that you'll need to call and give them your return flight information.

This.

We stayed at the BC for two days and moved to the BCV for 5 days. We had to call that number and give the flight info and everything worked out perfect.

I've had that happen on my DME tixs where the flight info didn't appear but when I called them, they had it in their system. I would call them to be sure the information is in their system.

This is almost exactly the same situation we had in June. We stayed one night at Pop before transferring over to Beach Club Villas for a week.

Because you have two separate reservations, you'll require two separate DME bookings. Your arrival information should be associated with your first reservation, and your departure should be associated with the second.

You'll get two separate DME packets. One that has arrival info but not departure (which it sounds like you already got) and then a second one with departure info but no arrival. Because the second reservation starts days after the first, you may still get the second packet (because they're produced in the order of check-in dates) I'd wait at least a few days to see if it comes automatically before you start calling DME.

Lastly, a word of advice/warning: If you get yellow luggage tags associated with your *second* resort reservation, throw them in the garbage right away! You don't want to accidentally put the wrong tags on your luggage and then get it stuck in DME limbo because they're arriving days before the tag says it should be getting there (because it has the second reservation's check-in date)
