It’s like the parks’ version of Adventureland, with a jungle atmosphere athetically throughout. And even a few rocky and cavernous areas as well for some of the non jungle characters like the ones from the films “Brave” and “Moana”.
Scar’s Lair
----- (rollercoaster, similar to the never built Excavator at AK)
----- (Cruise through the elephant graveyard, where the hyenas laugh and the evilest lion of them all roars. Much like Simba you may wish you never came though.)
Iago’s Treasure Hunt
----- (trackless, similar to mystic manor)
----- (Jafar’s bird has grown tired of his owner. After being yelled at by his owner off stage he vows (to himself of course) he won’t be his punching bag anymore. He’s going to find his own treasure and in turn get revenge on Jafar. He sings and daydreams about being Jafar’s boss and stuffing crackers in his mouth.)
Wild Jungle Boat Tours
----- (boat ride, similar to pirates of caribbean)
----- (Venture through the jungle and see King Louie and his monkey minions. They sing about wanting to be human. There is also the snake from the film… who wants to devour Mowgli. And where would a jungle ride be without some Wild Cats like the ones from Jungle Book and Tarzan. Be watchful though because many jungle skippers have tried to go down this same river, but they didn’t make it very far. Evidence is shown of that early on from sunken boats and scattered skippers clothes.)
The Legend of Mor’du
----- (motion based dark ride, similar to jurassic world adventure in beijing)
----- (Merida warns you not to go into the Ruins of the Ancient Kingdom. Because that is where our protagonist Mor’du resides. A great black bear that was once human, but is now cursed to remain a beast.)
The Escape: Tamatoa
----- (indoor dark disk o, similar to dizzy disk at dollywood)
----- (classic carnival set to the song “Shiny” by the self titled gargantuan crab. Tamatoa sits in the corner watching riders as they spin around. The end half of the ride is in the dark. During this sequence bright jewels adorn the walls and ceiling in bioluminescent colors, just like in the movie.)
The Residents of the area
Iago, Scar, King Louie, Shere Kahn, Mor’du, Sabor and Tamatoa
Restaurants
Elephant Graveyard, King Louie’s Snacks, Tamatoa Treats, Kakamora’s Coconut Hut and DunBroch Delights
