I don't know why they're changing the name, it always sounded good to me...
Now who's being uptight. If you were joking you were joking, let it go, but, remember that we aren't mind readers and if you don't really give an indication, like I didn't, that it was meant in humor we have no way of knowing.Or perhaps stick with one tone in your post.
It actually fits here. It's probably going to look like another Disney Spring's restaurant/store logo. We seem to be stuck in an Art Deco 1930s era font and architecture. I love Art Deco, but they have gone a bit overboard with it.
Just sounds like a 30th anniversary logo.... not a name change or permanent logo change.
So you're saying the new name is gonna be:A park by any other name would still be a park. In this case, be it Disney/MGM studios or Disney's Hollywood Studios it is still 30 years old. If a woman changes her name when she gets married does that mean that she is only as old as she has been married? Some would like that, but it isn't true even in the slightest. So no, that's not picky, that's just not a valid point.
Works for me... As long as there's something fun to do inside I wouldn't care if they called it The Great Florida Outhouse. So you're saying the new name is gonna be:
"Mrs. Disney's Hollywood Studios" , eh?
Yeah, especially with the buildings in the park. I just hope they don't too crazy with the art deco and try to use it in Magic KingdomIt actually fits here.
Magic. The same thing that makes Epcot a community, MK a kingdom, Disney Springs a spring, and All-Star Music anything more than a Motel 6.What exactly makes it studios?
They're not changing the name.I wish they would change the name next May instead. I know it's unnecessary, but the studio aspect is gone. They could have either done a major change or just a minor one like "Disney's Hollywood Adventure".

Seems a fitting name since A.S.S. is already there, then all they would have to do is move M.I.L.F. there and Disney's International Cinematic Kingdom would be complete. That does it. Post of the year is right here guys.
That’s the name I would’ve gone with but then when you think about it, there are true stories of people going to WDW looking for Harry Potter not realizing that it’s at a completely different resort having nothing to do with Disney. Universal already has an “Islands of Adventure” so imagine some people getting even more confused with the name “Adventure”.I wish they would change the name next May instead. Where is the original PR? Because the article on this site and the title of this thread could be interpreted either way.Indeed the PR says it is specifically a 30th Anniversary Logo, not a new logo released on the 30th Anniversary.

As long as "silly" means the same thing as dumber then a bucket of rocks. That’s the name I would’ve gone with but then when you think about it, there are true stories of people going to WDW looking for Harry Potter not realizing that it’s at a completely different resort having nothing to do with Disney. Yes, some people really are that silly
