This resort is intended to be completely blue sky. It doesn't have a set location ( think of it being set in an au where most things are the same).
We will start with the crown jewel of the resort. Walt's Kingdom of Dreams, a 6000 acre park. This is only the start of the magical locations in Disney's Blue Sky Resort. We'll examine transportation and the TTC in the next post

The TTC is sleek and modern mixed with a hint of fantasy.
A large parking lot is outside the berm and tram service takes you to the ttc
A pretty glass roof covers the dock for the ferries porting people to and from the deluxe resorts that surrounded the Kingdom of Dreams
The skyliner flies into a Steampunk themed station .
Bus stops have the same glass cover as the docks.
Monorail pulls into a glass covered station
The peoplemover also pulls into a glass covered station
There's a small quick service and a shop selling last minute souvenirs and park essentials

Coming back to this .
Kingdom of Dreams main entrance
The entrance harkens to classic entrances.
Turnstiles line the border of the entrance area, about a quarter of them are for annual passholders
Ticket Booths are in the area in between Security and the turnstiles. They have the same glass roofs as the ttc buildings
Security is gone through as you exit the ttc area.
As you pass through the turnstiles, you are greeted by a seasonally changing mickey head on a grass hill leading up to the train tracks that run around the park.
In the morning right before the park opens, theres a welcome show, with characters on the train.
There are two guest services locations on both sides of the groupings of tunnels.
There are eight tunnels to get into the park, As you pass through, there are posters on the wall of attractions in other areas of the park

You look at your map at the areas you have to explore in this massive park, the first land you are about to enter is Main Street, then you move to the Hub. This land connects the park together. The first land you encounter after going away from the hub is Adventureland. Going through Adventureland, you come to Paradiseland, Frontierland is next up followed by Liberty Square , after that is Chinatown, then New Orleans Square, Fairyland is next followed by S.K.Y, then Fantasyland, S.E.A's follows that, Holidayland is a rest area with some relaxing dark rides, Mythos is next, followed by the second non hotel connected entrance area Disney Avenue, Toontown is right after that, followed by Muppet Studios, after you meet the muppets move on to Old Hollywood, then move on to the land honoring the man who made this all possible Walt's land, through a tunnel you move onto the future, First up is Discoveryland, then Tomorrowland . The last land in your journey is Progressland

All of those will be getting their own parks within the greater resort area, Marvel and Star Wars may get a land outside the bearm in this park.

The setting where this resort will end up has a magic system
As a additional aside, S.E.A and S.K.Y are embedded throughout the whole resort as this puts a focus more so on original characters and ideas then IPs, Each park will have it's own mascot, ala what figment has become for EPCOT. Kingdom of dreams mascots are a Fairy named Iris, who is kinda the symbol of the magic that happens there and a new princess that is going to be added to the lineup.

( There are expansion pads built into each land- two to six- depending on the size of the land. Main street has two largish ones- I will discuss plans for the expansion pads at the end. Characters are both walk around and in specific meet and greet spots)

As you emerge from the tunnel, you turn around to see the Disney Railroad station above you, reached by stairs and a ramp. We'll be taking that later, as it makes stops in every single land. Turning back around, in front of you is a square of brick paving, the appropriate flags flutter from a flagpole, rotating characters meet here . Turning to your right you see Town Square Theater, a broadway style theater, running Frozen ( currently- it will be what ever Disney show has recently closed on Broadway, or a concept that they want to test before putting it on Broadway.) Turning to your left, we see City Hall- First Aid and Baby Care, City hall holds one of the four guest service locations in the park as well as baby care and first aid. Next door to City Hall, you will find S.E.A's Outpost a base for recruitment to the organization. It is in a Victorian home Next to S.E.A's is Mary's the bakery of this land. It is set in a old timey bakery- that has been expanded. When you pass Mary's you reach a cross roads. We'll turn onto it and come down the main street after we're done exploring this extension. You pass another entrance to Mary's as you turn the corner. Next to this entrance is a train shed, claiming to show the History of the Railroad. (This is a dark ride that brings a bit of education to main street.) Passing the ride entrance, you reach Joe's Tea and Coffee, this is the Starbucks of this land. It looks like a classic small town coffee shop. Across the street is The Emporium (it's one big L shape) , it takes up the whole space of the other side of the street as well as a sizable chuck of the left side of the main drag. This is the classic which we all know and love, one of the two mega stores in the park . You see another street heading up towards the Hub as you exit Joe's , you head up it, On your right you see another entrance to The emporium , past that you see Roy's this land's Club 33 location ( Local game is strong here, though annual passholders can join for an up-charge price - each is named after an og imanigeer ) Turning to your left you see Ella's` a table service restaurant serving all american food. ( It has the style of a small town diner) . Next to Ella's you come across an entrance to Iris's magical flight- a family flying coaster dark ride combo that has you flying with the park mascot. To round off the left side, you have Magical Meets, a character meeting spot. Continuing on the left, past some baseball stadium turnstills you have The Major League- a dark ride taking a look at America's greatest pastime. To round off the left- Kingdom of Dreams post office.

In the next post we'll cover the main drag and the side streets near Town square Theater. Question for those reading- Would you like to take the train from land to land- or walk it?

Usually is Mickey that is the mascot of the Magic Kingdom parks.
Mickey is the mascot of the whole resort along with Oswald. They will have plenty of representation in all of the parks in this resort. I want to create one or two mascots that can be linked to a specific park.

On another aside, in the next walkthrough post I'll be introducing a new society that will be another running thread throughout the resort/

( Sorry I hoped to get all of main street done today but I'm making a bunch of dishes for thanksgiving. So you get Artist's Alley* name subject to change)

As you turn past the Post Office onto a smaller street that connects this side part to the main drag, you catch a glimpse of Snow White's Castle. It towers over the landscape at 199 feet- but the park is designed in such a way that it is only visible from Main Street, Mickey Avenue, The Hub and Fantasyland. We'll be seeing more of the Castle later. Casey's is next -stretching to the main drag. Outdoor seating fills the area across from Casey's. You can also find one of the land two Popcorn Carts, each land has a different flavor, Main streets is the regular kind. You go across the main drag and are greeted by The Plaza Inn and Restaurant , a table service restaurant as well as one of two sensory escape areas in this land ( the other is attached to City Hall) - across from Plaza Inn you'll find one of two Churro carts, like the popcorn, each land has a different kind. This one is the classic kind. Past the Plaza, you find S.K.Y Outpost (Each outpost is a combo of a walkthrough attraction as well as a station of something akin to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom) . As you turn down this side street on the right- you come across the Museum of the Weird ( this is based off the og concept for it), across from it is, Main St Barbershop , a place where anyone can get their hair cut. Next to the Barbershop- in the facade of a dress and tux shop is Main St Makeovers a place that is a place where anyone can get made up for a price. There's a small park like area next to the Museum of the Weird that holds character meetings Next to this park you find one of two flat rides Artie's Swinging Paint cans- this is a chair swing, adding some much needed engery to the land. Turning back to the left you come across - Paint with Melanie - this is a dark shooting ride where you collect points by painting scenes. The outside of the ride building is a mural , this whole area is covered with art. Turning back towards Artie's , next to it you see Melanie's Studio- a dark ride - taking you an adventure through the artist's studio. - coming out - you are at the end of the street, You turn on to the street that will lead you back into Town Square and come past Animation Studio- ( something akin to the experience that used to be at Hollywood Studios) , Art of Disney, and Artist Paradise ( a art supply shop- theres also space for guests to make their own artwork, as well as a studio space for imagineers to meet with lucky guests) Across from that is a counter service window where you can get Character Waffles. As you emerge into Town Square- you notice a paint and music note adorned building next to the Theater. This is S.E.A.M Outpost, (S.E.A.M stands for the Society of Entertainment, Artists and Musicians). This serves a function similar to the other Outposts.

As you come to the main drag of main street, you pass the Emporium on the Left and Artist Paradise on the right, Next to Artist's you will find Main Street Ice Cream , the ice cream spot of this land, Next to this sweet stop, there is Tony's Town Square This classic restaurant returns with a focus on high quality food. Next to Tony's is Main Street Movies - this is a spot that shows a rotating series of rarer Disney shorts. Next to the Movie Theater, Main Street Jewelers - This is the expensive things shop for this land ( This reaches to the start of Plaza Inn) Turning back to the left side, after the emporium, you come across Main Street Music ( This is where you can buy most of Disney's music) Another park area sits in between this and Casey's. As you step from away from the main drag you've entered the Hub. (This is a land like in Shanghai)

I am adding two more lands. They are Candyland and S.E.A.M

I hope to get the hub up today.

As you enter the Hub from Main Street , passing over a bridge- A river runs under it. The hub has a river running around that serves a combo transport - with a few scenes from stories represented in the park. It has a station in each land - except for Main Street and Mickey avenue . This is here because the park is so large- it needs two ways to get from one place to the other without walking through each land. We'll explore it by sections as we walk from land to land. ( I'll make a hub post in between each land- covering the area in between the previous land and the next land) Most lands have an entrance from the hub, the transition area is a bridge

As you head around the bend to adventureland you pass The Crystal Palace, an character dining restaurant where you can meet the cast of Tarzan. Soon after you pass that- you reach the bridge to Adventureland. We'll take that in the next post!

I plan on going through each land like this and at the end, go through and present the breakdown of all the lands in more depth. These will have a full write up of every single thing in the land. The park will retain classics, on that note , I am open to suggestions on where to put Haunted Mansion.
I'm also unsure of where to put Small World- I'm in between putting it in Fantasyland or Walt's land (where the world's fair rides/experince will be)
I'm open for suggestions on what you would like to see.
