DisneyQuest

I phoned yesterday to see if there were any pins attached to my name and happily there was. When the agent went over all the details he mentioned the water parks and DisneyQuest were included and could not be removed. The price was far better than I imagined and is a great deal. We spend all waking hours in the park and have only made it to DT Disney once and never went to DisneyQuest. I have heard it can be great entertainment for the kids but my question is - how long does it take to do it all at DisneyQuest? Would you need an entire day or is a long evening enough time? The kids are 6 and 2. Thanks for the help.

I have been to Disney Quest twice, and will most likely be going back during this August trip with my family. There are literally hundreds of arcade games that are free to play and in order to do all of them it would take hours, and to do all of the virtual reality games alone you’re looking at between 1 and 3 hours depending on lines. The 2 year old might be able to play the arcade games, let alone the virtual reality games and I’m not sure if there are height requirements because no one in my family were short enough to worry about it. So if you intend to do everything I would say spending anywhere from 2-5 hours, with 2 being not very busy. Oh yeah, it can be a little loud and dark in there sometimes, it’s not too bad I just thought I’d tell you just in case your 2 year old doesn’t like that kind of thing. I hope you have fun!

DisneyQuest is a very good 5 hour diversion, I find. But my group is older and we take advantage of pretty much all the rides. Cyberspace Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Battle for Buccaneer Gold, Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdan, Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam, and especially Alien Attack on the top floor.

Alien and Pirates are our favorites.

There are a number of other things to do, some better suited for a younger crowd.

Hope I remembered all the correct attraction names. :)

We love DisneyQuest, but our kids are 12-16. There are fewer things for younger kids to do. The crowds can be overwhelming, so I would recommend going early. The five-story arcade layout is confusing at best and has seemingly random turns, hallways, and stairs. You will need to keep a close eye on the kids. You likely won't need much more than three or four hours there.
