Hello again! I am finally caught up at home & at work so I'm ready to recap :) I'm missing the Disney magic today so I'm hoping that re-living the trip via the forum will help some. A quick rundown of who, when & where:

Who: myself, Laura (30) & my husband, Roland (41)
His birthday was the Friday before we left so we were also celebrating his birthday on our trip too!

When: Thursday 10/26/17 - Thursday 11/2/17

Where: All Star Movies Resort

DAY 1
Thursday 10/26/17

Our Disneymoon began at exactly 2:45 AM when my alarm went off:confused: Our friend's father-in-law, Bill runs a car service company and he was picking us up to drive us to the airport at 3:45 sharp. Roland & I are both morning people, so we were up & moving quickly, waiting outside for Bill who arrived promptly at 3:45. We stopped at the Quick Check by our house for some caffeine- a large coffee for Roland & a 20 oz Coke for me and it was off to Newark Liberty International Airport. My fellow New Jerseyians will know what it's like driving on empty highways and an almost deserted NJ Turnpike in the wee hours of the morning- surreal! We approached Newark Liberty International around 4:15. I had checked us in the day before & we were carrying on so all we had to do was get through security, which was surprisingly quick & painless. We got to our gate a little before 4:45 and settled in to wait & board. We flew Jetblue, which was a very good experience. The flight itself was quick, and we landed at MCO around 8:15 AM.

We made a quick bathroom stop to regroup and get our Magic Bands on before making our way to the monorail, which by the way seems so much smaller & shorter now that I'm older :D Neither of us had ever ridden the Magical Express before so we were excited to scan our bands & board.

Here we are- tired, but excited!:):)
We had fun playing the trivia & enjoyed the welcome video. Our bus stopped at All Star Music & Sports before we arrived at Movies- we headed to check in & were told our room wasn't ready yet, so we stored our bags with bellhop and went to the food court for our first official Disney meal:
23316277_10100529811542207_1036501628395385410_n.jpg

After breakfast we explored the resort- we loved it INSTANTLY. We had never stayed at an All Star resort, and we were not disappointed. It had everything we needed & we felt comfortable throughout our entire stay. We ended up being in the Love Bug section, which was a quick walk to the lobby, food court & buses. Some photos we took:

We stopped at Donald's Double Feature in the lobby so I could pick out a pair of ears (I ended up never finding my old pair of ears) and do a little browsing- I picked out the sequin Minnie ears and a new phone case before we hopped on a bus to Disney Springs.

I was excited for our first official Disney bus ride (besides the Magical Express of course:D) and loved taking in all the familiar sights of the property. It was strange to see Blizzard Beach closed with an empty parking lot! We arrived at the Springs, and what a difference- it had been ten years since I had been & couldn't believe all of the changes. We took our time exploring all the new shops & restaurants before stopping off at Bongos Cuban Cafe where we got some empanadas to share- they were very good! We sat for awhile chatting & people watching before heading over to World of Disney and the Lego store. We had a great time at Lego, it was so cool! Roland is a big Lego fan so he was in heaven. We then headed over to World of Disney where we spent some time just browsing- it really is Disney overload! I took note of a few items I planned to come back for later in the week:)

I received the text around 2:30 letting us know that our room was ready so we headed back to the bus station. While we were waiting for our bus to arrive I checked the app to see if any ADR had opened up for Chef Mickey's & was thrilled to see that there was an open slot for 5:00! We had a 7:05 reservation, but we were both starting to feel the effects of being up since 3AM & I had a feeling that an earlier dinner would suit us better. I quickly booked it, and called to cancel our original reservation. I had it all taken care of by the time our bus pulled up!
We arrived back at Movies and received our room assignment- we were in the Love Bug section :):)

I loved our room! It was the perfect size for us, and not to far of a walk from all the action of the resort. We unpacked & got situated with STACEY playing in the background:D A little before 4:00 we headed to the bus stop & waited just a few minutes before hopping on a bus to Magic Kingdom. A lot of families were heading to Mickey's NSSHP, I loved seeing all of the kids dressed up! Not too long later we arrived at the gate
IMG_6003.JPG

Not the best picture, but I loved the giant Mickey pumpkins. We unloaded the bus, and I was giddy just knowing that we'd be back in the morning heading into MK! But first things first: dinner. We walked over to the Contemporary, which I was excited for as I had never been to Chef Mickey's or even AT the Contemporary other than passing through it on the monorail. I was not disappointed- I LOVED IT! We walked around a little bit before checking in at Chef Mickey's. We took our picture & were quickly seated!

We had a blast at Chef Mickey's! Our server, Todd was excellent & at the end of our meal even brought out a cupcake with a candle in it for the birthday boy!

We were seated close to the buffet, and the characters came around to see us pretty quickly. We really liked the food, especially the dessert selections

And finally, the head chef, the man of the hour..

We chatted a bit & thanked him for the delicious food!
We finished up and walked around the Contemporary a little more. We walked through Fantasia Gift Shop where we bought some swag for our Magic Bands:
23131802_10100528565125037_6990449432836753901_n.jpg

We then boarded the monorail to head over to the Polynesian- I was on a mission to get my very first Dole Whip:D
23130685_10100528564780727_4410485964610930415_n.jpg

Mission completed! It was wonderful. Roland was laughing at me because he couldn't believe I still had room after everything we had eaten at Chef Mickey's. He did try a little bit though! We walked around for awhile before heading back to the monorail- it was going on 8:00 at this point & we were exhausted. We rode to the MK, hopped on a bus back to Movies and soon enough we were in bed, ready our first full day in the parks!
Some photos I took:

DAY 2
Friday 10/27/17
Our first park day! We had an 8:30 ADR at Be Our Guest which I was super excited for, BaTB has always been one of my favorite Disney films. We woke around 6:30, took showers & got ready. Roland went and grabbed coffee for us while I was finishing up & we were on our way to the bus stop a little after 7:30. A bus arrived soon after, and we were off to MK!

23168054_10100528565239807_5009570085252427985_n.jpg

Once we arrived we went through security, scanned our bands and we were in. We spotted a photographer out front so we headed over to have some shots taken
23131020_10100528565309667_5937185355938131991_n.jpg

We continued on and just took in all the wonderful sights, smells & sounds. It was cool seeing Main Street decorated for Halloween! We took a bunch of castle shots before heading to BOG.

We got in line & placed our order at the kiosk- we both chose the scrambled egg whites with roasted tomatoes & chicken sausage with a side of fruit as well as some delicious pastries. A server delivered the food to our table & greeted us with "Good morning, Madam Laura! We hear you have brought a beast to breakfast this morning":D We cracked up! We enjoyed our meals, as well as the atmosphere! We sat in the main dining room to eat then walked over to the West Wing.

Once we finished, it was almost 9:30 so we headed back out to Fantasyland and stopped so I could pose with one of the gargoyles out front
23032795_10100528568388497_6202397983603988544_n.jpg

Our first FP was for Peter Pan's Flight at 9:30, but it's a small world had no wait so we hopped on our first official ride of the trip! After our boat trip we hopped on our pirate ship & flew over London. I hadn't ridden either ride in many years so I was feeling very nostalgic. Our next FP wasn't until 11:00, and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was already over an hour wait so we got on line for The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. I took some pictures in the queue for my sister- Pooh & his friends are her favorite! It's a cute ride and again, makes you feel like a kid. We took a spin at The Mad Tea Party (one of my favorites) then got in line for Tomorrowland Speedway where Roland took us for a cruise. Our FP window had opened up by that time so we headed over to Space. What a great ride! We got off & stand-by was only 10 minutes so we rode again. This is what started the name of my trip report- we rode all of the coasters so many times! We'd use a FP only to come off and see that stand-by lines were only 10-20 minutes long (with the exception of 7DMT).
After our second trip through Space, we took a break at the Lunching Pad & got some Mickey pretzels.
23316378_10100528573044167_7285413131175413955_n.jpg

After our snack we did two things neither of us have done before- took a ride on the People Mover and rode the Carousel of Progress. We had so much fun! And had "IT'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW" stuck in our heads for the remainder of the dayo_O After COP we hopped in the queue for Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, another attraction we have never done. It was good! We like the movies so I had a feeling we would enjoy it. After the show, our FP for Pirates had opened up so we bid a farewell to Tomorrowland and it was off to Adventureland! Pirates has always been one of my family's favorites- my dad is an avid fisherman so it was a fitting ride for us. My favorite part is the wench auction- ME WANTS THE RED HEAD :D I thought the spot where they take your photo is a little odd- we both agreed that they should take it at the small drop! We were also in the very back row and I swore that our side of the boat was sinking, ha ha- we seemed dangerously close to the water.
IMG_6234.JPG

After the ride, we looked around the gift shop & then walked around Adventureland for a bit. It was almost 1:00 at this point and that area of the parked seemed REALLY crowded so we made our way back across the bridge to Tomorrowland to get some lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. We both got the Greek salad with chicken & some waters. Roland also got a strawberry lemonade slushie that came in a BB8 souvenir cup.
53081701829__31A87F8F-0136-4381-BA1F-2AC71E0E14F5.JPG

After lunch we headed back to Fantasyland and rode Journey of the Little Mermaid- I liked it for the songs, Roland said it was boring:D We got stuck at one point towards the end but got moving again after a few minutes. The voice that came over the PA system announced that it must have been the sea witch messing with the attraction, LOL. We then walked over to ride Dumbo which is always a must-do! I really enjoyed the new Fantasyland- I like how it's split it up into different sections now. After Dumbo we hopped on the railroad instead of walking back to Main Street, we browsed in a few shops before heading out to catch the monorail to Epcot. Our first half of the day at Magic Kingdom had been perfect! We didn't feel rushed, and we got to do everything we had planned to do. We hadn't tackled BTMR or 7DMT but I had FP for those later in our trip.

Friday 10/27/17

EPCOT! We boarded the monorail at MK & before we knew it we were at our second park for the day. We went through bag check & one of the security guards loved my "Don't believe me, ask the dishes" shirt:D We headed in and too some Photo Pass photos at Spaceship Earth

After photos, we rode Spaceship Earth. I had gotten a FP for it earlier in the afternoon after our last FP in MK. I love SE- we cracked up at the video of ourselves at the end:D:D
23172546_10100528593877417_6258711822298079908_n.jpg

As we exited SE, I checked the app to see if there were any FP for Test Track- there weren't but the single rider line was 20 minutes! We hopped on and ended up being in the same car just different rows. Another great attraction, in my opinion!
23031570_10100528578074087_9089474437624449573_n (1).jpg
After TT, we journeyed Into Imagination with Figment. I think he's so cute:) We again, got stuck but began moving again quickly. After checking out all the Figment merchandise, we headed over to see Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. We viewed Get A Horse, Piper and Feast. We had seen Piper a few times shown before movie trailers but we were happy to see him again- he's just too darn cute after getting washed up by the huge wave. Poor guy! Feast was our favorite of the three, what a sweet & happy story. After the films it was getting close to our dinner ADR so we started making our way over to Coral Reef. We were still a good fifteen minutes early so we walked over to ride The Seas with Nemo and Friends, which was a walk in. After a ride through the big blue world, we checked in for dinner. My parents used to take my sister & I to Coral Reef every trip but it had been a good 12 years since I had been & it was Roland's first time. It was a great dinner! We were seated at a table for two right next to the tank so we had some great views while eating. Our server Ben, was fantastic and very attentive. CR offered a prix fixe menu which was a nice option & what we decided to go with. We each ordered the heirloom tomato & mozzarella salad for an appetizer and the mahi mahi for an entree. (As you can see, our tastes are very similiar:)). For dessert, I had the key lime tart & Roland went with the chocolate wave. We had a nice surprise as this came out with our dessert:
23032502_10100528576631977_6015968516976786853_n.jpg

We toasted to our trip, and enjoyed our wonderful desserts & chatted with Ben awhile longer. It was a great experience all around!

23167994_10100528576392457_7828967876091195919_n.jpg

After dinner we walked around for a little bit before heading to The Land. I had a FP for Soarin' for later in the week but we figured we'd check and see how long the stand-by line was- it was close to an hour so we we opted for a ride through Living with the Land, which was a walk on. I love this ride! When our boat pulled up Roland asked if it was like the boat ride from Willy Wonka:D It was a nice way to relax after being on the go all day, too. Our original plans included staying for Illuminations, but again we were exhausted! I used to think nothing of spending 10+ hours on my feet in the parks all day- I guess turning 30 has turned me into an old fart :D We decided to one more attraction before heading back to the resort, and we decided on Mission:SPACE. We opted for GREEN, which we thought was just the right amount of intensity for us. We waited about 10 minutes before being sent to our spacecraft. We rode with a younger boy and his mom, he told us he rode this ride at least five times and it wasn't scary at all. He then assigned each of us the different positions on our team. He was funny! It was a good last ride of the day. We made our way out of the park to our assigned bus stop, and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a bus to arrive. By the time we arrived back at Movies we were ready for second dessert, LOL. Roland had a Mickey ice cream pop & I had a sugar cookie from the food court. After our treats we watched some tv & talked about our day before going to sleep. We were getting up early for our big day in ANIMAL KINGDOM!

DAY 3
Saturday 10/28/17

Animal Kingdom day! Again, we woke around 6:30 to shower & prepare for the day. We headed to the food court for coffee & breakfast- I opted for the Mickey waffles again, Roland opted for the bounty platter. I also couldn't resist this treat:

We sat for awhile longer and finished our coffee before heading out to the buses. We waited about 10 minutes for an bus and soon we were arriving at AK for our second day of adventures. We went through bag check, well I did- Roland cruised through the no bag lane and met up on the other end to scan our bands.

We took our time walking through the oasis and once we got to the Tree of Life we took some photos & then waited in line for some Photo Pass shots

Our first stop was It's Tough To Be a Bug!, which is always a fun way to kick off the day at AK. I got a few more shots of the tree on our way in & we modeled our bug eyes
