I don't know if I would call that concept art, as it's very stylized and more of a logo... but yeah, I think this is a nice hint.

This is minor, but I'm a bit disappointed in the Mickey/Minnie costumes from that art. Minnie's is definitely nicer, but Mickey's just looks like a Million Dreams rehash. Why can't they get the amazing costume designers from Tokyo to cook up new outfits? Every year their seasonal character costumes blow me away.

Agreed. Reminds me of Dream Along with Mickey, from MK. Hopefully better in person.

I know this wasn't clear to me (maybe it was to others) but it was confirmed to me a couple days ago that World of Color will be all-new for the 60th, top to bottom - not just an edit or tweak of the current show. It also sounds AMAZING.
REALLY hoping they reuse the 'Lil Squirt' concept from the early versions of the show. Think it would happen?

Not sure, but I think most people will like how this show is coming together even more than the original show (which I was never a huge fan of).
Wonderful.

I have a pretty strong attachment to the original show (I'd wanted to see it since it premiered and getting to see it on my first DL visit in 2013 blew me AWAY) but I realize it has a lot of problems. I'd LOVE to see a cleaner version of it. Just keep that wonderful, wonderful intro music.

If the actual original show had premiered sans executive tinkering, I would have liked it more. You can find the full original soundtrack on YouTube now I believe - and it's insanely good and way better than what we ended up with (thanks Bob!). Here's to hoping the new show isn't tampered with by mindless executives without a creative bone in their body

Yes, that's exactly the version I'm talking about. Focused more on Lil Squirt and the 'moods' of the colors and scenes shown.

I'm thinking that since the show is already a success, Davison might have more say and get to harken back to those original and more abstract concepts. It'll be wildly successful ANYWAY, why would anyone interfere?

Maybe they can trick park guests into cleaning up after themselves -

I loved this cartoon as a kid - thanks for reminding me!

Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing! I loved that cartoon as well. My sister and I though it was the funniest thing. Whenever we cleaned, we sang the tune and did the bump. Made cleaning so much more fun haha.

My dad took inspiration from it. I had several birthday parties as a kid that had messy games like water balloon battles. My dad would always have the last game with the best prize go to the kid who could collect the most trash. I used it a few times when I worked in aftercare. We had huge trees that would drop the big sticker balls all over the playground and kids would be slipping all over them or throwing them at people. I used to get big black trash bags and have the kids compete to see which team could pick up the most.
