Animazement was the rumored name for DL's parade; HKDL's has always been Paint the Night. I hope they announce this stuff soon - we're all tired of speculating, especially when floats and props have already started arriving backstage. :)
Seriously! Someone get there hands on photos stat! LOL

Does anyone know when they will make an official announcement yet???

AMEN!!!!

I'm starting to really believe the gut feeling I get whenever rumors of a night parade at DL Park comes up: I'll Believe it when I see it! I'm not doubting people on here. I just can't understand why this is still a secret at DL if indeed this is true. FOF was announced in late April 2013, about 10 or 11 months before FOF. Cant DL at least announce the Night parade and Fireworks at this point? The fact that they don't have dates yet really doesn't matter as this is just the start of Oct 2014.

Another rumor we cant seem to get confirmed(no offense to the people on here or other sites) is if Soundsational is staying?, new 60th Day Parade? Would be nice if DL kept a day Parade if they do indeed get a Night Parade.

On another note, I'm starting to doubt all the installations for the Fireworks show next year. If I remember correctly, didn't it take DL a whole year to install RDCT? Wasn't that part of the reason why Believe Changed to Imagine quickly in 2004? Or are they reusing all the RDCT locations?

Have faith and patience. Anaheim isn't Orlando. A bird in the hand is always nice; but, their birds in the bush actually come to fruition and don't take years to develop. The information that leaks out of Anaheim is usually solid.

Paint the Night is happening. I haven't heard a peep about Soundsational leaving. The crowd control team leads I spoke with in August were discussing how busy their days will be next summer with 2 Soundsational parades, Paint the Night, Fantasmic, and fireworks. The idea for the 60th celebration is to jam pack as much fun as possible into the resort. Unfortunately, the budgets for new rides and attractions didn't get approved to make the celebration have more; but, what is coming should still be of quality.

Paint the Night
Steve Davison's new pyro show
Fantasyland's dark rides refurbs
World of Color 2.0

All of these items are in motion towards development currently. My guess is that there will be a big press conference to announce all of these in the next few months. There really is no urgency to announce much sooner than that. Disneyland Resort's engine isn't based on getting everyone locked in 180+ days out like WDW is. Operational hours aren't even made public until a month and a half out. In terms of the 60th celebration, which will be summer based, Disneyland is more-or-less operates near capacity anyway. Driving up demand now isn't needed.

All good things come to those who wait in Anaheim.

All people have nothing more to do than wait in Orlando. "Don't worry guys... there's a great big beautiful tomorrow... or maybe the day after tomorrow... actually, just check back in maybe 2016 or so."

Wasn't that the name of a stage show at the Fantasyland stage near Small World?

Orlando has MSEP, DL's MSEP I might add. I know people on here hate TDO but TDO has had a night parade every summer.

That Schedule looks Fantastic!!!! I haven't seen that kind of schedule since a 1998 DL TODAY on ebay!

Is DL getting the same name for their parade: Paint The Night?

TDO actually has had multiple night parades and had 2 available at the same time if they wanted...

1st gen MSEP got shipped off to France when Spectro came online

SpectoMagic (RIP)

Then a brief return of MSEP borrowed from DLR then Spectro came back and DLR's went back to Cali

Then WDW got DLR's MSEP again to "spruce up" their Summer NightTasic promotion... you know the one where Orlando put on the absolutely incredible Magic, Music, and Mayhem fireworks show (still my favorite of Orlando's and arguably my favorite on either coast) and rolled out MSEP. Of course this is the same promotion that the cheap so-and-so's in Orlando decided it would be safe to park Spectro's floats outside all summer... which led into winter... which led into the next year and so on. The whole time Spectro rotted away. So, thanks TDO. We can continue to enjoy MSEP ad naseum and party like it's 1976 or 1776 forever. My only hope is that eventually MSEP's salute to the bicentennial won't be prophetic and we celebrate MSEP's 200th anniversary.

*You can't tell I'm still bitter about losing SpectroMagic can you?

The point I was making about Disneyland's very busy summer next year is that it again draw attention to how lazy TDO really is when it comes to filling a day at the world's busiest theme park with entertainment options. If the original resort with it's smaller pathways can do it, then so should Orlando. Of course, putting "more" into the Magic Kingdom simply compounds the problems with the resort. We need to pull people away from there and into the other parks.

Both Pinocchio and Snow White are going down for very short refurbs, from November 12th-13th. That's clearly not enough time to make significant changes. Still, I'm waiting on a confirmation from Disney if these refurbs are happening at all.

Apparently Matterhorn will be down from January 5th - May 13th. I'm assuming some things will be installed for the firework show that hasn't been confirmed, but I'm praying they're planning to put the old sleds back.

By old sleds, you mean new sleds that are structurally identical to the pre-refurb sleds, right?

Anyway, agreed. The new sleds stink.

I don't think anything major will be announced until next year.

Did you hear that from someone? Or are you thinking it? If true, that's too bad! Maybe their saving it for the Christmas Day Parade?

No, I'm just guessing, and I don't think there's going to be an announcement during the Christmas Parade Show.

Not sure if they ever made those kinds of announcements during that special.

Mhm, I'm talking about these:

I absolutely hate the new sleds. Horrible mistake Disney made.

Sucks that the Matterhorn will be down during my trip. So close and yet so far........... I hope some more of the Fantasyland rides get updates like Alice by the time I get there but I won't mind if they don't. Just as long as Mr. Toad and Pinocchio are open I'll be fine.
