Wow, just a tiny peak, but that was fantastic!

I can only imagine an entire parade route filled with those costumes and that fresh soundtrack on a warm summer evening at Disneyland. Pure magic.

If they don't bring a version of this to Anaheim for the 60th, they are idiots. This is exactly what's been missing from Disneyland for too long.
AMEN!!!!!!!!

So is DL getting a copy of Paint The Night? Or is that only a small rumor?
The rumor has held its ground for quite awhile. Lately, the odds seem to be higher than lower. Spirit confirmed it to be true quite awhile ago. He most recently said that it doesn't seem that it will be too different from Hong Kong's now. But we'll just wait and see. I would absolutely love it the lineup were extended at Disneyland's version.

The costumes are AMAZING!! And the soundtrack... EXQUISITE!! So far this parade seems to blow MSEP straight into the trash. I wasn't too thrilled with the lineup at first, but after seeing the floats it gives me so much hope for this to be an awesome parade. The only one I don't care for out of the lineup is Cars. Other than that, perfect! I really do hope that Disneyland's version is much longer.

The other thing too is that there are supposed to be two show stops in the Hong Kong version, to give guests a chance to use the "magic paint brushes." Not, sure if that would be included if this ever came to Disneyland...

The music too! (Assuming that's the soundtrack playing). It's so unique! Just the right amount of modernization and elegance! I Love itttttttttttt. And that MSEP remix...I'm melting.
I know, as I listened I couldn't help feeling like I was watching a modern MSEP. The music just screamed it, so well produced. Just the right amount of nostalgia and modernization.

I love the parade floats and the first 2 costumes (the 2nd set is absolutely stunning) but the 3rd set made me feel like I was at a rave rather than a Disney park. I'd still love to see this in DL though.

I completely agree. I loved the first 2 costumes, but thought the 3rd one was similar to something you may find at a lower-scale theme park.

According to Disney and more the float lineup is as follows for Hong Kong:

“Disney Paint the Night” is composed of seven units of creative floats including Tinker Bell Opening Unit, Monsters Inc. Unit, Cars Unit, The Little Mermaid Unit, Belle Candlelight Unit, Toy Story Unit, Mickey & Friends Finale Unit.

Additional info:

“Disney Paint the Night”, a first ever fully LED parade created by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, is a state-of-the-art, vibrant wonder that immerses many of Disney classics and Pixar stories in magical, luminescent worlds. Disney Paint the Night features seven original floats containing over 740,000 individual lights. This fantastical parade will bring to life guests’ favorite Disney and Disney∙Pixar stories in unexpected and thrilling ways, illuminating the whole parade route every night."

Interactivity:

"Interactivity allows Guests to immerse themselves in the experience of “Disney Paint the Night”. Interactivity is always a key to enhancing guests’ immersive experiences. There are special magic enabled merchandise items developed for the parade. The Park especially designed the all-new interactive merchandise - “Mickey Magic Paint Brush” which allows guests to interact with performers.

During two show stop moments of “Disney Paint the Night”, guests will be able to “paint the night” with the Paint Brush. It can literally change the colors of the performers’ costumes at the touch of a button. The floats can also ‘talk’ to all other magic-enabled merchandise items, including “Mickey Glow Mitt” and “Minnie Glow Bow” and change the colors of the items to give guests a chance to really become a part of the parade.

The Park has also prepared a series of specialty food and beverage options with a glowing and glittering theme to further complement this latest nighttime experience.

To further celebrate the vibrant spirit of “Disney Paint the Night”, guests can pay a visit to the Tomorrowland Bootique and to be “painted” in luminous make up by our professionals and join the dance party with DJs and an all new illuminated stage performances in the Tomorrowland Party Zone."

I saw the same thing on HKDL's Press Site this morning. Maybe I'm over worrying, but the part about only mentioning October - December makes me nervous. I know the holidays are in there but it almost looks like their putting a time line for Paint The Night. Hopefully it's not that and DL will make their own night parade and not steal HKDL'S actual parade.
