Retheme to Princess and the Frog obviously.I agree with those saying that these proposed changes have little to do with Disneyland Forward, yet this one stirred my curiosity. Why and how would you change Big Thunder?

You must be trolling us
Big Thunder represents a regretful time of American Western Expansion that exploited Native Americans and immigrant Chinese in the conquering of the west, building of railroads, and gold mining operations, while also prohibiting employee owned food factories in a systemic attack on African Americans and female entrepreneurs.Sorry, unless you can find anything “insensitive” in the current attraction, that’s not going to happen.

Not gonna happen, but I'd be down to ride a Jessie rethemed Big Thunder. If it gets a few more AAs like the Prospector and Woody, might be interesting.Who me? You don't think people would line up in droves for Jessie's Rootin Tootin Rollercoaster: A Toy Story Bonanza Extravaganza ?

I know you're joke, and I'm joking back.Ok is this a reverse trolling? Haha. I figured with my 10 year posting history people would know I was joking.
Yep, they are included in the DisneyForward proposal which will be voted on by the City Council next month. The expectation is that it’ll pass and the project will move forward.I haven't been keeping up on this too much... a friend was commenting yesterday that the eastern parking structure and harbor bridges are being dicussed again?
But with Harbor business access to the walking bridge this time.
If I recall what I read correctly, the security screening will be placed at the end of the bridge. It’ll be in a small piece of the old transport hub nearest to the monorail. This still allows for expansion space for DCA.So if the bridge has access from the Harbor businesses then that means they have to leave the security tents on the bus transpo hub right? Or I guess they could force those coming up to the bridge from Harbor to go backwards towards the parking structure/ security. The latter seems less likely though.
Yep, as I recall they will add stairs or something to allow access from Harbor to the bridge. But with Harbor business access to the walking bridge this time.

I guess they could move it to be closer to the esplanade so there is less chance for backup on the bridge itself. But either way the security screening will be after the bridge instead of before as was originally planned for EGW.Not ideal as people could back up onto the bridge but whatever it takes to break ground on this project I guess.
I think you would have been fine in that scenario as you could access the bridge from a path next McD’s without having to go all the way around. But yeah it’s better overall I think. My family’s tradition is to stay at HoJo, and have McD breakfast on the way to the parks. Glad for this change.
