secret life of pets looks ok. its like a 5 minute dark ride with some decent animatronics based on an IP I dont care about. USH def needs more rides though, so anything helps.

Good concept, but given that the IP will likely fade fast, will this be able to outlive its IP? Universal does have a fast turnover rate for rides compared to Disney (for the most part).
I don't think the IP matters. It's a ride about pets, regardless of it being based on a movie. Just like someone can like automobiles and enjoy Cars Land but not like the Cars films.

The Walking Dead had to close to allow for the opening of Secret Life of Pets. I don’t think the Walking Dead had to close, but it wouldn’t be appropriate to be next to it. Funny thing is the show is on its 10th Season.

I... I guess that fits. Hopefully there are more rides with few to no screens from both companies in the future.

We're starting to get away from the actual point of this topic, but I will say it's about time the Walking Dead left. During Halloween it's fine, but during the year it is such a tame activity with minimal scare actors that they could do so much more with the space.

just make it so riders can fit on it. i think the fact that if you have some weight you can't ride is a major flaw and going to hurt their riders per hour since most people will be turned away.

Didn't they announce that it was leaving at some point in the past year?

waking dead experience sucked really bad imo. Def a waste of space and SLoP ride looks fine. Id def make that tradeoff any day.
Universal Has some work to do because after seeing vids from japan on nintendo land (esp the mariokart ride) im a lot less thrilled about it. I like the new jurassic ride stuff for the most part though.

Let's turn the clocks back to 2003. Before Walking Dead was Universal's House of Horrors, before that was Van Helsing: Fortress Dracula, and before that was The Mummy Returns: Chamber of Doom (also a walk-thru scare attraction). I went in there with the girl I was crushing on and she got really scared early on and held onto me tight through the rest of the attraction. That was a good day.

That is all.
