Also I think not having the Jungle Crusie and Big THunder Mountain would be attendance suicide, it is good to be orginal but since this is still a Magic Kingdom park and you have changed nothing about the base layout really or the named the park anythign different, you need to give the publuic what they woudl expect, they would want to see some new rides and some new lands, but you have to give them the staples of the MK/Disneyland park or you will disapoint many guests.

It would be like walkign into a new Baskin Robbins that opened up by your house and when you came in they had lot's a new flavors, which was nice, but not choclate, vinaila or strawaberry, as you woudl have expected and you would be greatly disapointed(assumign those were your favorites), rather if you had walked into a totaly new ice cream shop that was not it a chain called Zanny Ted's Ice Cream and they had all sorts of new wacky ice cream flavors you would not be disapointed as you did not nesicairly expect to find the classic flavors there as you had 1 never been there before so you could not base it off expereince and/or 2 it was not in a chain of venues so you could not know what to expect from indirect expereince

I hope you understand what I am talking about from this anologiy

I understand, I'll add Jungle Cruise. But I have a ride like Big Thunder going in to Disney's America. I still havn't posted everything so don't be disipointed yet. Journey to the Center of the Earth will have adifferent twist I will talk about it later. Thanks for the comment FigmentDream but this is a disney park in Virginia about 16 hours from Orlando I want people to have a very different experiance so they don't feel like they are in Orlando. I will still have lots of the original Disney rides but it needs to be alot more different than Orlando's version. Since it is not as far away as California's Disneyland. I hope you get my drift FigmentDream

Pretty good ideas, except I don't think the Monsters inc. ride belongs in Fantaseyland. Fantaseyland's rides are based on enchanted fairy tales that were visualized by Walt Disney. Monsters inc. is not an enchanting fairytale, but good movie. Plus the facade would be a huge modern techno building in the middle of an area that has buildings themed to renacance and fairytales. I like the idea for the ride, but I don't think it belongs in Fantaseyland. By the way, "Big Fish" is a stereo type indian name. Please don't use it.

I have actually been ranting about this to other people on this board, and I at least did not mean to give you the impression that new rides were bad, you just need to have the favorite anchors with the new rides if you are goign to call this park a Magic Kingdom. Any third american resort needs to be very differetent from the other two parks, the problem I am finding you running into is trying to stay similar while being compltley different, so you have to carefully balance evreything. Basically what I am tyring to say if you are goign to be different the best way of doing it would be to invent a new spin-off of the MK/Disneyland style, if you call it the Magic Kingdon you instantly lock yourself into expectations, granted you have room to alter and add things, but if you start with somethign complelty new even as simple as giving the park a new name, you have released your self from these public expectations and the sky's the limit

thanks for the idea on the new name I might take up on that. It sounds like a very good idea, I mean I still want it to be like a Magic Kingdom but I want it to have a different twist than the other 2 parks. Thanks for the idea FigmentDream.

Oh ya Imagineer Boy on your post I know it won't really fit but I really have know where else to put it, It's a great ride and I don't want to cut it.

Well, it's pretty good. I don't like the idea for Aqua Bay though. IT's just baisicly a water theme. All themed land need good strong positive theme that the rides incourage. You have a mix of things like Sci-Fi ( 20 k and Storm Chaser ) and Disney Films
( Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, etc. ). You need to improve the lands theme. About the Star Wars ride, there's more to Star Wars than just Podracing. I suggest that you make a newer and more improved version of the current Star Tours.
Toon Town sounds like a mix of Toon Town and Toon Town Fair. Add somthing new. That's it for now.

thanks for the input, but belive me I know a lot about Star Wars, I'm a brain when it comes to that subject. And the podracing is the theme to the ride. They have been talking about upgrading Star Tours to a podracing theme so thats where i got my idea and I think it would be fun to have a podracing simulator, and I'll create a storyline for it when I get to that part of the press release. As for Aqua Bay I like the theme and I'm not changing it I know it doesn't have a very strong imagitive rating but belive me its gonna look beutiful. I like it and thats where I'm puttin all my water themed stuff. I'll try to get another press release up later.

For Camolot's Village did you make those rides yourself? And can you go more into detail on the rides please. Do you mind if I decide to use any of the rides for Chamolt's Village in my park land called King Arthur's Kingdom.Just wondering.

new press release on Disneyland Virginia

Disney Unviels In Deph Ride Description

GLC (May 31, 2015)- After a long time we finally jump in to details of one of the new E Tickets at Disneyland Virginia's magic Kingdom stle like park that still does not have name at the moment. This ride will probally be one of the most populer rides in the park it is called Dragon's Lair. It is located in Camalot Village here is an in deph decription.

Dragon's Lair-DL is a flying rollercoaster with guns atatched to the seats. It uses the new shooting gun technology like on Buzz Lightyear, and MiB. The story is a castle was just discovered by archeologists. The archeologists have discoved a lot of black marks on the castle, and a bunch of melted knight armor. The dragon will not not let the archeologists search the castle, they call a scientist and he invents a high speed flying car with guns(your trains). This is when you come in the scientist needs volenteers to test his machine. O.K here is what the line is like. You follow a wall with a bunch of danger signs with different messages like "Beware of Dragon" or "Do not enter". Then you enter a large Arheological dig tent in front of the castle you folow the tent till you enter the castle. This is where you see the pre show. The pre show is the scientist telling you about the mission, giving you info on your train and how to use your guns.. After seing the pre show a couple times in lineyou enter the loading area, there is a bunch of melted knight armor, and burnt things. You also here whispering to spook you. When you board the train you accend a lift hill and listening to the scientist on your speakers. when you go down the drop you go straight into a huge loop and after that you cutback into a the castle then you go into a intleman in and out of the castle. When you are flying though the castle you sometimes get glimpses of the dragon. You are being chased right now you are flying in and out of the castle. You are almost at the end of the ride you think you have escaped the dragon then you here a large roar and the humungous dragon appears you slow down and eventuly stop your train has seemed to brake down. Sirens are going off on your train, and you think you are going to turn in to rosted meat. The scientist comes up on your speaker, and tells you to use your guns . You slowly start to move in to a downward helix, this is when you start slaying the beast. After you go around the dragon 2 times he roars and dies. While you going around the dragon, he is swating and breathing fire. After you slay the dragon you get rewarded by the scientist, and you return to the station. When you exit you walk into a gift shop and an exibit about dragons.

Well thers is the ride sounds very exciting, and groundbreaking. Just bye hearing about that we cant wait till the opening of this ride. We will try now to post press releases daily describing new rides that people may not know about. Hope you guys enjoyed it.

well today's press release we will go to the construction site

Construction Is Running Smoothly Here in Virginia
Today we take an inside look at the constuction site of the new Disneyland Virginia

GLC (June 1, 2015)- Construction is moving very smooth here in Virginia. We can already start to see the casle forming, and also the big volcano in Adventureland is rising very fast. After yesterdys press release we are getting lots of questions about Dragon's Lair the public seems very excited about it, and this is only one of the many E Tickets to come. Some other new rides our coming to Virginia, we will get more in to that later

The Graddock Land Company has been very good with Disney this has been some of there fastest constuction. Graddock Land Co still has a set opening date at July 2020, that is 5 years away and with the way construction is going we could the park open in maybe 4 1/2 years. We should start to see the park form in a bout 9 months, so far the place looks like a mess. But that is with all the construction equipment everywhere.

Instead of just covering rides daily we will also decribe the new lands too. There are rumors of a Finding Nemo attraction going in to Aqua Bay themed to the EAC with Crush. That could be a very exciting rides but if it is built it will be constructed after the park opens part of phase 2. Well thats all we have today tune in next time.

thats the press release any questions or comments, please its great to be back on WDW Magic again
