This would be the best place ever or San Antonio

HOUSTON NO NO NO the weather is iffy during Hurricans its horrible.When it rains there it floods terribly.. HOT HOT
Not easy to get around in for tourist. Actually a real nightmare on the freeways they cut you off coming and going. NO NO GOOD. Hurricanes come inward there, unlike Orlando and its devastating when they do.

Austin would be ok but that city can stand on its own does not need the attraction really

BUT for sure San Antonio they have Feista Texas, Sea World,The Alamo, and wonderful river walk for all must see. AND when they say meican food it IS mexican food not the disgrace like San Angel Inn..

OH please please Disney we only live 2 hours from there..
Texas has wanted this forever and it really is a good area.

Not easy to get around in for tourist. Actually a real nightmare on the freeways they cut you off coming and going. NO NO GOOD. Hurricanes come inward there, unlike Orlando and its devastating when they do.

Texas has wanted this forever and it really is a good area.

Not sure Texas really makes a lot of sense form a corporate standpoint. Taxes and the price of land would be a big part of the equation and although Texas had no state income tax for individuals... it does have a rather high corporate tax rate (franchise tax) that would hit them with 1% of gross revenue... frankly if I'm an amusement park that type of tax coupled with exceedingly high property taxes would have me looking elsewhere.

I suspect the only way they would make any type of new park in the US would be if a state was inclined to provide them with a very significant and long termed pass on property taxes... and provide other incentives.

But the biggest issue would be the why locate in the center of the US when they target more and more foreign visitors? And if you wanted a central spot in the US... why pick Texas? Wouldn't they be better off going north to Oklahoma or Kansas where they could get more land for less money and have much lower overall taxes (when you combine all taxes a business is hit with, Texas is usually ranked in the top 10 most expensive... places like Oklahoma are and Kansas are in the bottom half of expenses). Not to mention they would be truly more central to the whole country than Texas and not nearly as over crowded with tourist stuff... Remember when Walt went to Orlando it wasn't already filled with Seaworld and the other parks it was a swampy nowhere... Some open plains in Oklahoma or Kansas would be more in line with that type of thought process.... get a clean slate and let the infrastructure develop around you.

well see what you said there is kind of a fallacy. its impossible for something that large to maintain attendance growth like that simply because there are only so many people on earth and so many theme park / disney fans that exist and would go to the parks. therefore you cant really extrapolate those figures out over the long term because we don't know when that plateau will be reached. or a decline will ensue. i understand its just a dream concept i'm just bringing a bit of a real life factual-ism into the equation. I would say most likely their next step would be to build additions onto the current parks and maybe around the next 30 or so years we see a new park, the content of which I would not know simply because the other parks cover almost everything there is for quality theme park subject matter.
