Disneyland was originally supposed to be named Dinosland (and the classic Disneyland sign was originally erected as Dinosland), building on Walt's little-known affection for dinosaurs. Disney historians are still puzzled as to why, considering the park itself would be much the same as it opened (and would thus have nothing to do with dinosaurs). Some have speculated it's because "Dinos" is close to "Disney", and the cost to rebuild the sign per-letter would be cheaper than thinking of an all-new word. When Disney bought Lucasfilm, they were preparing to overlay Adventureland into the Indiana Jones themed Abenteuerland. It would've been a distant land conquered by an evil empire. Stormtroopers would've roamed and interrogated guests. There would've been two new rides an aerial dogflight simulator and a prison/base escape ride where you would be threatened by...

Oh wait, I just described SW:GE.
