I enjoy the occasional Disney podcast and was wondering what your favorite Disneyland based podcasts are. Anything good I may be missing? Here's what I've been listening to lately:

Mousestalgia
SweepSpot

Used to listen to Disneyland Gazette and Window to the Magic but got kinda bored with both of them, especially the latter when the host started asking for money to fund his trip to WDW so he could record live audio there.

And while we're on it, what about WDW/Misc Disney Parks?

Wedway Radio - was my favorite but they seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. Maybe real life caught up to them or they are focused on selling their t-shirts/prints now, I dunno.

WDW Today - Reasonably interesting, usually decent shows but I kinda pick and choose which ep's I d/l based on the topics. Crazy how many shows they've released.

- Surprisingly, even though Tommy Boy can be a bit annoying, I actually enjoy the show content. Darth Diffendahl can be a little distracting but at least they put some effort into the research and production. They just don't release shows very often anymore.

Inside the Magic - Ricky Bobby jumped the shark with me with his Frozen Meet and Greet tirade (amongst other things) and I haven't looked back.

WDW Radio - Sweet Lou...a Disney shill but supposedly a very nice guy. His shows kinda suck now though...top 10 lighting effects, really? Seems like he's stretching it a bit to get content.

So, any other Disney parks related podcasts you all listen to?

I have recently started listening to Skywalking Through Neverland. It's Disney/Star Wars fan podcast but the hosts are from SoCal so it is somewhat DL focused.

But I loved his top 10 Lighting Effects, also whats wrong with the Frozen meet and greets?

Right now its just Window to the magic. I typically skip the first four minutes of his advertising to get to the show. Inside the Magic use to be good but is so hit and miss on new shows that I don't listen anymore. That one too I always skip the first few minutes to get past the pandering. It use to be a much better show. I'll have to try Skywalking through Neverland.

A lot of podcasts to me have crappy sound quality or sound like a bunch of drunk gamers talking over each other.

Nothing wrong with them at all, there was a whole debacle when the Frozen M&G opened up at WDW and Ricky got a little upset about it, kinda came off as a whiny entitled baby.

I looooove podcasts, but I have shifted away from WDW ones over the years. WDW Today was my first podcast ever way back when.

Now, I only listen to WDW Today, Be Our Guest, and I still sort of like MouseChat and the Unofficial Guide's show. I mostly still listen to these because I've been listening so long, they sort of feel like old friends now. Retro Disney World is newish and in my queue, but I haven't started it yet.

And I can't stand Lou, Ricky or Tom. I just... can't.

There's one called The Jungle Crews that I thought I would love. It's interviews with past Jungle Cruise skippers, mostly from Disneyland, but the sound quality wasn't the best when I listened. It might be worth a shot now, though.

I like to listen to The Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish Podcast with Jim Hill. He has good history retrospectives.
<ducks and covers from the Jim Hill haters>
Right behind you pal, I love Jim Hill's podcast since I get to learn more about the Disney parks and trivia and history most of the public aren't aware of.

I been lessening to RetroWDW for a while not. It's fun to lesson about long time guests who visits WDW back in the 70's and showing some old footage of the WDW.

But I love Lou's voice, and what about Tim Foster? :(

I would like to endorse Tales From the Jungle Crews (I appeared on an episode 2 years ago).

Sweep Spot is cool but can be a bit dull.

WDW Today, "the other sites podcast", Unofficial Guide with Jim Hill and Len, and the others I like when I have time to listen are Communicore Weekly, MouseChat, and WedWay Radio(I agree about the direction they have recently gone). There's just way too many WDW ones to sift through, and it's tough to find a more consistently good show than WDW Today IMHO. And I cannot stand Lou's show, I quit listening after about a dozen shows. It crossed the line when he did a "live show" while eating at Tony's Town Square.

Yes
TheDisunplugged is what I listen to regularly. They cover in separate casts DL, WDW, Uni and a few other around the areas. They are passionate, but fair listing pros and cons for each as they evolve. Podcasts as well as livestreams and vlog iTunes and youtube

Mousetalgia and Communicore Weekly are my faves. I listen to Wedway Radio whenever they do one -- but while Matt and Nate seem like really cool dudes, it always kinda bugs me that they don't fact check their info more and come off as pretty uninformed about some news that is readily available elsewhere.

Agreed. The Dis unplugged is pretty good. There's a couple of personalities on the show that I find annoying or just don't have good flow. But, keep in mind, I'm a Howard Stern superfan, who's considered to be the top radio personality of all time, so if I hear even a few moments of boring content my interest starts to wane. These guys do a pretty solid job of keeping things interesting. Also, Michael Bowling, their Disney historian and ex- mousketeer is massively knowledgable and entertaining.

On a very related note, I SERIOUSLY encourage you guys to listen to a series that these folks have put together called "Connecting with Walt". It's on Youtube, or their podcast page of course. Tells a VERY in-depth history of Walt and the inception of Disneyland and Disneyworld.

I also listen to the various DIS Unplugged shows. Michael Bowling's contributions to the Disneyland show and the Connecting with Walt series are extremely interesting. The WDW crew will also periodically cover Disneyland, and Pete has been very vocal about encouraging people to go visit Disneyland.

Don't you love the kiss goodnight song at the end of World of Color where the lyrics say for everyone to go to Disneyland. "Lets all go to Disneyland. Come with me to Disneyland."? Sure, what else are you going to do? DCA is closed for the night.

I listen to the Dis Unplugged, and I really enjoyed the 7 in 7 series they did for Disneyland for the 60th.

Also as a horror fan, I listen to Creepy Kingdom. They talk about the elements of the parks and films based in horror. Though I wonder if mentioning them is a naughty word around here because they were behind The Dark Side of Disney documentary.

Michael Bowling is a gem. I hope Pete follows through his idea of auctioning off Michael as a tour guide one day
